@@drinkthejuice360 I think it has a lot to do with the context of when the song was sung that stuck with us. Iroh sings it twice in that episode. Little soldier boy Come marching home Brave soldier boy Comes marching home He thought he knew What he was fighting for, But the sight of blood Made him question war. Poor soldier boy Cold and alone, Bombs fell like rain, He's all alone. Those leaves did grow From branches overgrown Drifting slowly down Resting in the snow. Little soldier boy Taken from home Forced to fight a war That’s not his own. Leaves from the vine Changing so slow Like empty, fallen souls Looking for a home. Little soldier boy Thought he could soar Little soldier boy Died in their war.

*"Happy Birthday, My Son."*
*"If only I could have helped you..."*
I wont deny, after all these years, I still break down in tears every time I hear those words of our Uncle Iroh...
so relatable! so much emotion!
Roses are red
Aangs arrows are blue
Even though the show has ended it still lives on in our hearts
Lovely

“I don’t want this i want him back”🙏
I didn't need to cry today yet here I am 😭😭😭
Oof, Who's a 2008 Watcher? Still remember watching it every week when it would come onto Nickelodeon every week. Then in I think, 2014 Legend of Korra. I promise it's not to disappointing! You'll see Iroh again!
I cried when I saw that part of the show when I was younger. Probably still will as an adult.
Those aren't tears, I'm waterbending moisture from my eyes 😭
Every single time I hear this song I need to cry.
The birds are singing in the background. What a lovely music. Beautiful. I subscribed to your channel.
IM CRYING RN😭😭this SONG IS 😭
I always get emotional when listening to the original song, but then one day I fell asleep to this video and had a dream where it was Iroh (LOK) playing this song next to Zuko's grave and that's the story about the first time I cried in my sleep.
Iroh: Leaves from the vine
Me: Tears from my eyes
