Cregennan Lakes Car Camp / Sunset Walk up Pared Y Cefn Hir

- Car Camping in South Snowdonia at the beautifully scenic and popular photography spot of Cregennan lakes some 800 ft. above sea level. Owned by the national trust, it has some spectacular panoramic views over the mountains and Mawddach Estuary. Plus some other intresting walking routes including that of Pared Y Cefn Hir, which is nestled on the northern slopes of Cader ldris, and is1257ft high.
We left our beautiful little cabin and headed for our first spot to start of our wild and car camping snowdonia adventure. It was a lovely little spot over in Cregennan lakes (which I say wrong a multitude of times) we were planning on doing a wild camp but decided to have a relaxing sunset scramble instead. We ended up finding a cute little spot with our own little bench right by the waters edge. A perfect place to spend the night.
Disclaimer: there are no overnight parking signs in the actual car park that we saw the next day, but we didn't make it up there on the day we arrived.

Hey hey, thanks so much. Ooh so exciting. Well we have a portable toilet in the roof box for longer trips, wee in places well away from water sources or we just drive around looking for toilets if car camping for just a short time 👍
