As far as I am concerned the show needed Logan. His story and acting was the most interesting, intense, thrilling, heartbreaking, tragic and most of all he added a sexual chemistry to the show that blows my mind. He never apologized for his behavior, he accepted who he was - a jackass at time and a hero at times. He walked that perfect line of dark/light. I will stop at the movie just because I've already read about Season 4 and hate what I've read. Thank you for your video - it's easier to watch this that to restart each season just to skip ahead to the scenes where Veronica and Logan have scenes together which I've done too many times to count.

I understand Rob Thomas' motivations for writing the season 4 finale the way he did but even after trying to rationalise it, I just feel cheated and angry. The fans have been waiting so long for the continuation of the story and this is where he took it? Not that the loss of my singular viewership will make any difference to Thomas' writing of future seasons, but I'm seriously considering erasing the end of the finale from my mind and living in denial.

I'm not currently planning on watching any future seasons and I might just stick with the movie as *my* ending to this story - I get that the show is bigger than any one character or one relationship, but I don't really care to continue watching Veronica discover that she's the same person she was in the pilot: broken but able to withstand any horrific trauma the writers throw at her
@@bookdork1 I was also reading an interview with Rob Thomas and he said he wrote the finale the way he did because he wanted there to be new opportunities for romantic drama for Veronica... I, like you, understand that the show overall is not just about one relationship, but Logan to me is just as focal to the show as Veronica is... To me, he's kind of the heart of it. So yeah. I'm in the same boat as you -- kind of just going to opt out now and say the movie was the ending of Veronica Mars. Because that was how it always should have ended.
