It can also kill through shields with a headshot so if you walk around a corner and you find three guys all weak from a fight you can combine it’s quick fire with its ability to kill through shields and take them all out way faster than with a sniper or BR. It doesn’t have much aim assist but it does have some unlike the sniper so it can be a bit challenging to use, but you put together it’s fast time to kill, fast fire rate, power, CQC ability, clipsize, reload speed, and extra zoom for the fuck of it all together and it is by far the most powerful and versatile weapon in the game.
the disruptor's best feature is that with 7 shots, it can charge up enough voltage to kill someone who has run behind cover. You can literally pump them full of shots, reload and run away while they die

Although i think the disruptor is not very strong i dont agree with the statement in this video that it is completely unviable. All I could think of while watching this was the fact that I don't use cover like you do, I just absorb that shit and let myself due as long as I either take them with me or disable their shield for someone else's shot. I should really start taking cover more...
I think it was worth mentioning that the pulse carbine is one of the best weapons mid range. If you catch someone mid range with it, it almost always hit, and even if you are not confident in killing the target, it is a better shield breaker than the plasma pistol. I really think the pulse carbine is a bit underrated. Ascend Hyperion did a great video on this also.
@@TheMomoStudio tbh getting an actual kill with it is hard sometimes, since plasma damage is weak against flesh. so maybe if you clean the kill with another weapon it will work. and yes, it is tricky sometimes because it is the most medium range weapon of all time haha. only works at that range
Maybe they could buff the damage against armor a little bit so we can actually complete these silly "get 10 Pulse Carbine kills" challenges. It's a very awkward weapon in most situations.
Really good tip for mid ranges with the pulse carbine. if you shoot one burst and switch to your BR, it’ll be a one or two shot kill, I’ve caught many people off guard by this. Very reliable to do.
@@ramemberthefallen1651 disruptor is real good, can kill in like 6 shots and stops people from gaining shields. Real good for leaving people weak. And the stalker rifle is a 3 shot kill so its good as hell too.
The distuptor does damage over time so you can kill with 6 bodyshots or screw people's shields with 3, each 3 shots ir aplies the DoT wich has area effect, its pretty good
The needler has superb tracking in this game, you don’t even need to keep your reticle on your target once it’s locked on. You should try this out, I think it’s better than how you mentioned in your video
The needler is my go to secondary in ranked. When its clutch time and your backed into a corner you can kill 4 ppl back to back with it so easily. Ill usually have a boost or grapple with it, then youre unstoppable.
Another piece of advice with the BR two burst melee kill is pay very close attention to how much their outline covers them. Once you're able to tell exactly how full the outline is to show their shield's low enough to die to a melee, you can assist teammates very efficiently by meleeing an already weakened enemy that tried to get into cover from your ally instead of bursting until their shield is popped for the melee. The slight decrease in TTK might not seem like much, but if the enemy has a power weapon that can one shot you it can make the difference between finishing off an ally's target that's fleeing or just getting blown away by an enemy that turned the corner and they successfully recharge their shield and re-engage your ally.
The stalker rifle can be used like a sniper and the sidekick depending on the range. It's versatile just like the BR, but this gun can get rid of shields in 2 shots, and one shot on head with no shields. While the BR takes I think 3-4 to get rid of shields.
Always switch back to your BR after you pick up a sword, rocket or sniper. Keep them in your pocket until you’re ready to use them. They stand out when you’re holding them and when an enemy sees you with them they’re going to tell their team and then avoid you. Basically, try to keep it a secret which member of your team picked up the power weapon so the enemy team doesn’t know where it’s at on the map.
One last note when fighting against the SPNKR he mentioned how people will try to close the distance to force the rocket user to suicide and trade kills, but in my experience what usually happens is a game of chicken of sorts where they intentionally miss and hit right behind the enemy to try to be far enough to just survive it while the enemy is still in the kill radius. This is very very unlikely to happen though. Either they suicide or both survive typically in which case the rocket user is screwed since they're locked in the post fire animation and can't activate melee while the charger can melee as soon as they're in lunging range. Practice on bots to figure out the lunge range visually. Your FOV drastically changes the size of an enemy visually in melee lunge range so keep that in mind.
If you hit 3 shots with the disrupter it prevents enemy's shields from recharging for much longer than usual. so its good to punish enemies peaking from cover, as it leaves them vunerable to nades for much longer
What I love about this particular halo game is that the balancing makes it so that every weapon in the game has its moments where it can be useful. Except maybe the needler. Like you said, the disabler’s vehicle disabling capabilities actually makes it a viable option in those vehicle heavy maps, where it really isn’t viable in most scenarios. The heat wave at first glance is pretty useless but ends up being great for prayer spamming strongholds with a lot of cover while teammates rush. Great content. Learned a lot. Subbed.
A very important piece of advice for the AR I'm surprised he left out. Yes it doesn't one shot in the head when shield's are popped, it two shots and takes four or five body shots after shield's are popped to kill. As soon as you pop shields release the trigger to reset the bloom and pull it again as fast as possible aiming for the head. As long as your aim is true you will handily beat the enemy in the TTK race if you both start firing ARs at the same time and they keep firing at the body and you fire at the head when both your shield's pop. This also makes the AR sorta viable at doming an enemy who's shield was popped by an ally at the furthest range the AR can hit zoomed in though the sidekick does this much better due to the AR's recoil.
Need to remember that the spnkr has less splash damage than previous incarnations. In the past games to you could hit near enemies and get easy kills. With this one you have to hit them pretty much full on.
Disruptor can be good say if someone is running away from you or you know they’ll go behind cover after 3 shots it’ll apply a damage over time effect which will keep their shields low for a few extra seconds
Great guide; however, I have to disagree with your Disruptor review. The Disruptor has Damage Over Time, so once you hit at least 3 shots their shields will not regenerate for 10 seconds until the electrical damage effect is over. This is great for teammates to be able to clean up if you die, or if you're target is on the run and you're chasing them down, their shields will still be down. Additionally, like all electrical weapons, the electric damage can arc to other enemies nearby, which can also afflict that Damage Over Time effect of no shield recharge for 10 seconds. 6 shots with the Disruptor is also a confirmed kill because of this Damage Over Time. In fact, after you land the sixth hit you can run away, and the Damage Over Time will kill the enemy as you flee.
Stalker rifle lags behind? 3 shot kills and BR is 4 for perfect? It's just a brute version of a covenant carbine, but has an extra zoom. "It will un-zoom when you're hit" first problem there, don't zoom unless you have a sniper.
Don't zoom with sniper unless you're aiming super far away and there's no danger either. Easy bodyshot/melee hippie weapon, easy double bodysuit or even headshot on people who are distracted or bad. Stupid sexy sniper rifle
I mean, as much as I love Halo's 3 and Halo Reach's weapons, I have to addmit Halo's infinite are more complex and sophisticated, it used to be UNSC weapons and their Covenant parallels and in Infinite's case every weapon feels unique and has its own especial abilities and that's feels fresh for the franchise
Disruptor has d.o.t. so if you put a d.o.t. on a player and they run away and take cover, they can still take damage and die. Which can make a huge difference in ranked if someone is one or two shots. The commando, while not great, I've had increased success with it once I started using it as a dmr. You have to carefully control your trigger pulls as it's full auto, but using it like a semi auto mid range has worked well for me.
As far as I'm aware, if you get three shots anywhere on the body the Disruptor it does DOT. If anything it's great for pressure and let's you disengage after you get the shots in and still do damage out of LOS for someone else to clean them up, and sometimes outright kill the opponent if their health is low without the risk of continuing the engagement.
Hey man came across this video and went threw your channel . I really like the consistency of your videos and updates . Definitely keen to see this channel grow .
The AR in this game is honestly freaking cracked. Don’t sleep on it in multiplayer. Most the time you can kill someone faster than they can kill you with their pistol.
The heatwave is sick, my fav new gun along with the repulser. Just make sure you hit your shots. I kill ppl long rang all the time. The mauler and a br is a sick combo.if you and your boy both have 1 it decimates shields.
I can’t believe how far I had to scroll to see some heatwave love. He under sells it so much in this video. It’s arguably my favorite gun. I rarely use it horizontal. Go vertical and one shot close range and a melee it’s an instant kill. Or 3 good shots to kill at mid/long range. I love the heatwave and maybe it’s a good thing he doesn’t hype it up because it’s always on the rack when I go look for it and I would like to keep it that way.
@@joshturner1334 yeah I’ve been liking that game mode. It would be cool if they added it full time or at least brought it back down the road. It’s a lot of fun. It can get tense.
I was never a big fan of the BR ever since halo 2 :p I absolutely loved the DMR in halo reach though, I wish the DMR makes a Combe back in halo infinite.
I think they added the disruptor is because if you connect 3 shots your shields will recharge before there’s does giving you the advantage of having full energy shields while there’s is only at half that’s really the only reason I can think of since the mangler or side kick is better in every other situation
Disruptor is honestly super underrated. Definitely better picks for ranked but even for ranked it's a really good support weapon against sweaty players, if you hit them 6 times that's it they're dead so just dip out and they'll die seconds later, or 3 shots and it puts a lot of pressure on them by damaging and stopping the shield timer from counting down for an extra 10 seconds, mind you it can arc to other enemies a pretty fair distance. If the arc damage is the same as original shot than you can wipe out a whole team with 6 shots. It's very niche but at its niche it's one of the most powerful weapons in the game... Not to mention it can emp, albeit not very efficiently but function is function. I actually really like disruptor. It's a low their weapon that can help a solo even out a 1v2/3 if your getting burnished by tightly grouped players
The mauler is an absolute s tier halo weapon. You can go for a one shot to melee kill and a three shot kill at mid ranges. It’s only downside is the drop off and that it’s bullets can be reflected by the repulsor.
Also I noticed that the spnkr is a bit slower than in previous games because during my games I would see one coming in almost slow motion and just slightly move to the left or right to avoid it
"Next up we gotta talk about the __________"... Other than that aggravating repetition (you didn't notice it during editing????), great video, thanks for sharing!
Don’t sleep on the stalker rifle, it’s not meant to be a sniper rifle and get one taps, but more like a replacement for the covenant carbine. It three taps to the head meaning it can kill faster than the br if you hit headshots.
Hey, I wanted to talk about the disruptor pistol that I think is overlooked; it deals damage overtime leaving your opponent unable to recover shields for I think 8 or 10 seconds. Not a sidearm you should have for soloing but if you have a discord group with friends, having the disruptor can give you a great advantage in team fights. Just thought you overlooked it. I really do think the disruptor hasn't been seen what it can do just yet.
The shock pistol is very underrated, six shots to the body and you can leave the guy and the damage overtime will kill him, three shots to the body and his shield will be down by the time you switch to your br to head shot kill him
I think the disruptor is underappreciated, its not supposed to be used as a truly deadly weapon, you gotta use it in teamfights, if the enemies are close enough you can get 3 enemies really low, its supposed to be used as a utility weapon
the carbine is actually really good at mid range cause its projectiles get faster the more longer they are moving and it has pretty neat tracking, and the disruptor is a 6 shot kill if u spam it quickly
Really not a fan of the BR on keyboard and mouse. However, I absolutely agree with you on the sentinel beam - it's by far my favourite gun in ranked and most players ignore it - I suppose it's because it works better with a mouse than a controller. That said, my 2nd go-to is actually the Heatwave which just makes almost any range fights a breeze for me personally. But then again, I keep my mouse on high-ish DPI. Anyway, thanks for the video and good hunting ❤️
the disruptor is used to take shields away and keep them away it keeps you from recharging your shild for a much longer time than any other shield breaks cause it does DOT
acadamy has different damage numbers on weapons compared to multiplayer, it has pre nerf damage numbers, go check the difference between acadamy and against bots/friends in custom to see. commando is a good example
The disrupter is great for ranked and has after damage. If you shoot them 6-8 times the charge left on the opponent continues the cause damage. I’ve killed quite a few players that way.
I know that is for gameplay but one shot to the head is kinda strange, Spartans have a freaking futuristic armour that can protect them from literally falling from space into a planet yet without shields a pistol round can go through the helmet no problem
The Stalker Rifle isnt really meant to be used as a sniper. It has a high rate of fire making it a pseudo replacement for the DMR. To offset the difficulty of use it rewards skilled users with a 3 tap, and on the BTB maps its a menace.
I feel like he should mention how the Commando has a much faster ttk than the BR making it more effective at medium close range where you don’t have to worry about bloom.

Everyone is saying this but I can’t seem to get one kill with that thing 😭😭
Dude. Awesome content, everything is A+.. Here before the 100k.
Agreed ..he got my sun a few days ago and these videos are great
Idk yo, seems like the guy doesnt know how some of the guns work lol
Yeah i would give it a solid B...he just gets things wrong that are easy to know with a little research
Well whats the stuff he got wrong?
Not one pro tip in this video - simply information about each weapon
Gameleap :Pulse rifle covenent weapon
Me:there no covenent in halo infinite only banished.
Plus he showed an actual carbine not the pulse carbine
I think that you are correct about all of these except the disrupter. It chains people who are nearby and is amazing in the campaign
The disruptor is great. 3 quick easy shots takes out shields and spreads damage. 6 shots on one target will kill the enemy with DOT.
Great video and great useful information.
As a help, you did call the Sidekick the "side arm" and the Mangler the "mauler"
Also the bulldog is underrated. I did a fight with my friend and they destroyed me with it. But when I got it,the tide was turned
Just subbed cuz I'm not trying to get nade spammed indefinitely lol
Great content 👍
I learnt way more from people's comments that the video.
Thanks !
So glad Mills got a new channel and back to making content
Hey man came across this video and went threw your channel . I really like the consistency of your videos and updates . Definitely keen to see this channel grow .
next up we do gotta talk about
love this channel dude
The AR in this game is honestly freaking cracked. Don’t sleep on it in multiplayer. Most the time you can kill someone faster than they can kill you with their pistol.
Wow I have never seen such a grind for content. You're definitely blowing up soon
DOING WHATEVER IT TAKES! THANKS FOR BEING HERE
good to see youre already delivering the content i didnt even know i wanted. this is why i subbed :)
This video has a load of bad advice in it.
I love Halo Infinite so much. The content I’m going to create from this game 🙌🏼 Kicked me back on to my UA-cam grind!!
@@jkearns22 for sure. I only go horizontal when its do or die time and i need to hit that 1 last shot. Running some attrition right now, its sick.
@@joshturner1334 yeah I’ve been liking that game mode. It would be cool if they added it full time or at least brought it back down the road. It’s a lot of fun. It can get tense.
@@jkearns22 gamertag is "RumpleNutskn" lol hmu
I was never a big fan of the BR ever since halo 2 :p I absolutely loved the DMR in halo reach though, I wish the DMR makes a Combe back in halo infinite.
I think they added the disruptor is because if you connect 3 shots your shields will recharge before there’s does giving you the advantage of having full energy shields while there’s is only at half that’s really the only reason I can think of since the mangler or side kick is better in every other situation
Cool how u didn’t show an example for thrusting backwards.
I think you're wrong about the plasma rifle... I think it's actually pretty hard to dodge the plasma rifle, even if you are strafing
I was searching for a halo coach for a long time and now I got you. I love your content!
The mauler is an absolute s tier halo weapon. You can go for a one shot to melee kill and a three shot kill at mid ranges. It’s only downside is the drop off and that it’s bullets can be reflected by the repulsor.
with the spnkr the repulsors are better than the thrusters as youcan knock enemy's away and launch yourself upwards to hit the ground causing splash
Congrats on 30K! Thank you for the vids, more tips and breakdowns welcome
Also I noticed that the spnkr is a bit slower than in previous games because during my games I would see one coming in almost slow motion and just slightly move to the left or right to avoid it
Great video!!! some of that i did not know about the weapons, sheeeeet go a be a beast now.
Bruh the amount of disrespect the heatwave gets is unjustified. Horizontal mode + melee is easy mode
Great video bro! How have you not hit 10k is beyond me! great videos
Yo its been 7 days and your way over 10k subs thats hilarious
The disrupter prevents shields from coming back for 10 seconds. With a good team it can be very handy in ranked.
Sword+Grapple hook=OP
The pulse carbine can be very useful if you are working with your friends. I love how the NOOB COMBO is a viable option again.
Such a good and helpful video, A+ in helping me understand the guns in the game
the carbine is actually really good at mid range cause its projectiles get faster the more longer they are moving and it has pretty neat tracking, and the disruptor is a 6 shot kill if u spam it quickly
Honestly I think the M41 SPNKR is good, but it needs a tune up to splash damage.
Nobody:
Mangler: Nah
Mauler: Yes
XDXDXDXD
Really not a fan of the BR on keyboard and mouse. However, I absolutely agree with you on the sentinel beam - it's by far my favourite gun in ranked and most players ignore it - I suppose it's because it works better with a mouse than a controller.
That said, my 2nd go-to is actually the Heatwave which just makes almost any range fights a breeze for me personally. But then again, I keep my mouse on high-ish DPI.
Anyway, thanks for the video and good hunting ❤️
The disruptor does damage over time, so if you hit six shots you can basically run away from the enemy and get the kill.
the disruptor is used to take shields away and keep them away it keeps you from recharging your shild for a much longer time than any other shield breaks cause it does DOT
2K+ subs insanely fast 😭❤ absolute unit if a content creator.
acadamy has different damage numbers on weapons compared to multiplayer, it has pre nerf damage numbers, go check the difference between acadamy and against bots/friends in custom to see. commando is a good example
Deserves more subs, easy to listen to
The disrupter is great for ranked and has after damage. If you shoot them 6-8 times the charge left on the opponent continues the cause damage. I’ve killed quite a few players that way.
Great video!
Although I wish you had timestamps in the video and description, it would help my find the guns I'm looking for tips on!
Disruptor underrated. Keeps shields down for a long time relatively and chain effect
I know that is for gameplay but one shot to the head is kinda strange, Spartans have a freaking futuristic armour that can protect them from literally falling from space into a planet yet without shields a pistol round can go through the helmet no problem
13:28 this poor man tried so hard under pressure, you can see the fear through his helmet
That’s a bot
Great video man! I think you are going to be really successful once halo is fully out! Stoked to watch it!
It drives me insane how many people dont understand the pulse carbine. That thing shreds, especially at medium range.
dude werent you at like 5k yesterday? bt the end of today you'll be at 7k
ALREADY 7K BRUH!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE INCREDIBLE SUPPORT EVERYONE! TIME TO GET BIG!
The Stalker Rifle isnt really meant to be used as a sniper. It has a high rate of fire making it a pseudo replacement for the DMR. To offset the difficulty of use it rewards skilled users with a 3 tap, and on the BTB maps its a menace.
next up we gotta talk about.
It's really funny to see how these turned out vs how top rank and pro actually play, like the pulse carbine and mangler.
Love your content for both overwatch and halo. Glad you guys make vids.
I feel like he should mention how the Commando has a much faster ttk than the BR making it more effective at medium close range where you don’t have to worry about bloom.
Bro, I don’t regularly watch your videos but your channel growth is amazing. Keep it up man
