Did you know that digitigrade legs actually do less pressure on spine , additionally they let you run much faster with less strain for the feet . Why we didn't evolve into reptile morphs :l
digigrade legs would require something to keep your back balanced, hence why dinos had tails. Also those legs would mean harder to climb up and down stairs/ladders etc. Sure it would mean less pressure on the spin and faster movement but then there are alot of disadvantages especialy in environments, heck it would be very hard to crouch/get up with those legs too!

I thought up this same concept in the late nineteen-eighties for a satyr cosplay project (only I don't think the term "cosplay" had been coined yet). I had planned to use leather, metal plates, and springs. I never really got my project off the ground, but this looks like a pretty sophisticated design. Looks like it probably took awhile to develop. Congratulations!

Well, they're still pretty new I guess - and they're very specialised for costume work. You might be seeing a couple of pairs in action on one of your TV pretty soon...
Movements look more like the raptors from jurassic park then Xenomorph. Might be just the actors though (or the fact aliens hardly walk up that straight). Stil neat stuff! :D
Very cool - I could see using them to get a more realistic look for a Pan/satyr costume. Making the legs look right was always the deal-breaker, but with these it would work - excellent! ;-)

clay sculpture of individual panels + head / plaster moulds. Cast in silicon and latex and then attached together.. basically!
