Sorry if it came over the wrong way. i wasn’t picking faults, It was just an observation i thought needed to be mentioned. I have the exact same saw and stand, i changed the nuts from plain to dome. Nice video.
I was always a bit sceptical. 20 years in the trade I have always bought the best I could afford but this is great for the price. Thanks for watching and be sure to like share and subscribe to help the channel grow 👍🏼
Hi, I have an Evolution mitre saw so was going to get an Evolution stand for £90, that was until I saw your video. Have just now ordered a Ferrex one for £59.
Great vid, I know they don’t do this one at the minute but it looks identical to the Titan stand, and the same price at Screwfix at the moment. Very helpful review and thanks.
Yes they're probably all made by scheppach and sold under different brands. Great bit of kit. Thanks for watching and don't forget to like and subscribe to help me out 👍🏼
Thanks for the great video. Mine arrived today and the instructions are pretty scant, especially for someone like me who has not used one before. Your video filled in all the gaps. :-)
Brilliant review mate, thought the same as The IT Geek about the handles (had to go back and have a look at the Aldi advert), anyway, after watching this I have decided to and ordered mine now. Looking forward to receiving it. Look forward to the next vids, keep them coming and hope you and your family are keeping safe during these difficult time's.
Simon Hopkins thanks, hope you and yours are safe and well too. I think I do have the mounts the wrong way round. But because this dewalt saw is so big it actually makes it easier to carry. Thanks for watching and be sure to like share and subscribe to help the channel grow 👍🏼
Hi Great Video - Discovered your video while searching for a stand for my DW703 - unfortunately Aldi have sold out. After watching the Screwfix video on one of their mitre saws, they showed how to use the stops for setting up repeat lengths. They are the black painted right angles beneath the rollers. Will check out Aldi site from time to time and get me one of these stands.
be frank I've always been sceptical of budget tools but I was pleasantly surprised by this! Thanks for watching and be sure to like share and subscribe to help the channel grow 👍🏼
Hi Rob, Nice review, I did consider buying this stand, howhowever I think im going to attach my saw to a scrap table. Please can you have a look at my review of the Ferrex mitre saw, and see what you think.
Hi there, pretty certain you have the rails for the saw on the wrong way around. The image on Aldi's website shows the handles to lift the saw on and off facing out which kinda confirmed my suspicions when I watch your video. Great review though. 👍🏻
Crazy IT Geek if you look at Aldis pictures without the saw on the handles are at the front but the picture with the saw on the levers are at the front. The way I have done it seems right to me and works well but it could be used the other way round but wouldn't be as practical as you would have to go to the back of the saw to access the levers to take the saw off. If it's up against a wall then it would be really difficult. Thanks for watching and be sure to like share and subscribe to help the channel grow 👍🏼
I’ve had this stand for sometime now and that’s right. Clamps are left and right, handles out. I’m glad to see that the stand is suitable for the larger 305 saw. I also find that for quick jobs on site, you can still sit the saw on the rails on the floor without the stand. Still very sturdy. Definitely a good buy for the money mate.
You’ve got the mounting brackets the wrong way round, should be on the outside. The bolts go in through from the top with the nuts and washers underneath.
I did make a mistake and get the brackets the wrong way round but because my saw is so big it actually made it easier to carry it. The bolts have square sections under the head which fit in the grooves of the brackets so they don't spin when being tightened. Despite just picking faults I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching 👍🏼
Great video, nice work. I have ordered one of these on the strength of watching this. I have one question. Could you tell me what size bolts are supplied to pin the mitre saw down please. Are they M10 or M8? 😀
Rodger Quinn the bolt has a square section under the head designed to go in the slot on the saw mounts. Thanks for watching and be sure to like share and subscribe 👍🏼
Ah I see. I only use a wee 10 inch evolution saw which has hex cut outs on the base to drop a bolt down through and the hex makes it captive from the top. Chopping the bolt down will be just as effective.
Thanks for watching my videos 👍🏼

Great video, subbed, buying the Titan from Screwfix as this isn't in Aldi at the minute.

Crazy IT Geek sorry I misunderstood what you meant. Sincere apologies and I think you are right! My mistake 😳

Thanks. They are M6 bolts. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
👍
pete T. Thanks for the like 👍🏼
What are the welds like on it, I know the Lidl one on sale now only have spot welds , and isn't as good as previous model?
I'd there no clearance to have the bolts going down through from the top? With the nut on the underside

Handy vid, cheers 👍 keep up the good work mate
Nice vid mate. I like Yr vids as you don't make a fuss or arse about.
No one needs to see me faff about. Straight to the point and no nonsense.
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
How much is this again? 😁
40 beans
Looks quite low, I own a few Aldi tools and can't fault them.
Pat Link it's a bit lower than others I've used but it feels a comfortable height for me but I'm only 5'11"
