WildMudkip the xp is based on if you were mining coal. If the paydirt was anything more on the scale (predetermined when you mine it) then you get the xp bump when you put in the sack!
With you dropping everything except the adamant would it not be better to superheat the mith/adamant into bars then alch so you’re getting smithing xp?

Charters are ~110k crafting xp/hr. I can’t see that method being more than 10k/hr. But yeah it’s decent mining xp if you don’t need to afk
