How I really miss them and I used to play NFS Underground but I couldn't beat career mode completely because of how tough the game was with the walls, traffic and other obstacles in the way. Not to mention the map was disappearing to where I couldn't see where was I going which ticked me off. Brilliant sick driving there TimelessGaming. :)

For what it was back then...that game was awesome! You can't get a racing game today with that much car customization in it anymore (unless I've missed one they've made recently). They just let you upgrade the power,change the color,and add wheels...bring back full customization in racing car games,please! That's the best part about a racing game! You would think so with technology nowadays!

Maybe lack of compatibility and performance problems in newer operational systems... Or the person not having a CD/DVD drive to play, and/or not wanting to play a cracked version with virus. And the PS2 version has native 2-player split screen.

Hello timeless, did you have to install the widescreen mod to make it look like this? I cant manage to get the proper aspect ratio, mine looks stretched and can't fix it on psx2. I even tried your settings
You need to use 'widescreen hack' to enable the 16:9 on this game, or try boot into PS2 Bios menu -> System Configuration -> Screen size and change it to 16:9.

Sorry, but it is a fake. With the license plate seen on the car it is clearly the PC port and not the ps2 (pcsx2) version. Or is there a patch that brings the plate to the ps2 version that I don't know about?
ps2 and game cube has better graphics, more effects . xbox and pac has better reflection refresh rate but because xbox is almost same as pc, pc didn't get extra effects from ps2

Me too, i cant get it over 30 fps with 860k its old, but it can run gta 5 or such at 60 fps, some emulator games are really demanding.
Play the offical PC port, run in low spec computer.
Might just be me, but I think the PS2 version looks a bit better than the PC version. Might be compatibility issues with the PC version tho.
