I'm an Asian man, and I have little hair all over my body. I applied minoxidil to my eyebrows for almost two months. If you put it on, your eyebrows will definitely get darker, and you'll get a lot of hair around your eyebrows. And I only applied it to my eyebrows, also my eyelashes got longer. During the first use of minoxidil, the skin becomes dry and dead skin cells form, which can reduce body hair. It'll get better if you keep applying it, and it'll be effective if you keep applying it. Since the growth period of eyebrows is up to 3-4 months, applying as much as possible for 4 months will improve the effect.
Hi so after 3 to 4 months you dont need to apply it? It will remain permanent?
@@lunaskywalker6176 As a result of my experiment, if minoxidyl is applied and stopped in the middle, the amount of hair decreases, but it is maintained in a larger amount than before use. Minoxidil is bad for eye health, so It is good to take a break after using it for the first 3-4 months. If you want a permanent effect, do not stop applying minoxidil completely, apply it steadily every day for the first three months, and then apply it once or twice a week after that, leaving the results permanently. And even if you don't apply minoxidil forever, if you moisturize your skin when your eyebrows are dry and keep them warm on cold days, your eyebrows will grow better, leaving the results permanent without minoxidil.
@@진민규-m6d how many times a day do you recommend applying? I’ll be purchasing the Kirkland brand soon

I used this littleexttrra reactiavatte hair growth serum on the side area of my forehead where I have thinning hair. After using it for 30 days, I noticed some amazing results. This serum helped grow new hairs from the roots, and they became stronger and thicker. I recommend everyone who has thinning hair in certain areas to use it daily for a couple of months and include it in your routine.
My hairdresser told me that I should try reactivate serum for hair growth, and it’s actually doing the job...i am finding some new hairs growing in while I sleep..I use it every night
My hair routine that helped me achieve strong hair growth is:
- Brushing hair
- Shower
- Gently dry hair
- Apply hair oil (twice a week)
- Use lliitleextrra reactivate hair growth serum every night
- Finished
The most effective step you can do for your hair is to apply cocoonion shampoo and oil and reactivate hair serum. I've been following this regimen for the past 25 days, and my hair density is getting better with each passing day.
using gentle shampoo by littleexttra coconioon and applying reactiivate serum daily on my scalp has really helped minimize hair fall and promote the growth of new baby hairs. the proven ingredients in these really work wonders

@@93lrp for eyebrows I’ve heard that once your eyebrow hair become terminal which is usually when you’ve used minoxidil for your eyebrows they become permanently thick. This is different from bald men because your eyebrows don’t get affected constantly by hormones like your scalp
@@ssjjc333 That only applies to men. Women will most likely not ever get terminal hairs in the eyebrow area. The reason being is that their androgens are not as anabolic as mens. Men produce whats called DHT aka Dehydrated testosterone in a lot larger amount than a women ever would be able to. And what actually converts velus hairs to terminal hairs is the DHT. With that being said that does absolotley dot mean that women can't use minoxidil to achive velus hairs in the eyebrow region. But hey I m just a dude on the internet so don't take my word for it.
Because of a skin disease, I failed my eyebrows at the time, which at some point didn't grow back. it was a disaster. i wanted to do a eyebrow surgery but then i heard about minoxidil. i been using Minoxidil, it all came back. I can only recommend it to everyone.
Will it regrow eyebrow?
It works. I had like 10 hairs on my eyebrows I lost it years ago and I stopped plucking years ago too. I tried this once just once for like a month or less and I had 3x the hair. I'm gonna try this again

I need to try this. I’m one of those girls who over plugged her eyebrows in the 90s . Years after I’m still struggling to have normal brows
Can I have your IG?
Did you try it?
It works to a degree. Start as soon as you know your eyebrows are getting thinner. It worked but not hugely. I became aware of Minoxidil after I had only a little bit of eyebrow left (in my 60's). I'm guessing it's much better at regenerating hair/brows when the follicle still has some life left. But be careful! Close the eye of the brow you are doing and do NOT fill the dropper at all. Squeeze it empty, let go of the bulb, then just dip the tip in the bottle and tap off the end many, many times. Then rub over the brow. This stuff can drip faster than water into your eye! It gave me back about enough eyebrow to not look naked, but def not lush. Probably could have started in my 40's with a better result of keeping what I had.
You have to use it for at least half a year to see drastic improvements, you can go from a thin to bushy brow. I’ve done it and still use it daily
Can I use it at night then put an eyebrow make up (pomade/pencil) on the day because i need to have a make up at work?
@@maryjanecordova909 Yes that should be perfectly fine. By the way Minixidil can make your skin flakey when it dries up. But a scrub or moisturiser can help. But its so worth it! to have your eyebrows grow back

Does the minoxidil work on genetically sparse eyebrows as well or just on people who lost them due to over plucking?
I have some advice for anyone thinking about trying to thicken their eyebrows with minoxodill. Before you do that, try Pump haircare lash and brow. It worked for me. Their hair products worked for my pcos thin hair as well. Minoxodill did not...

Is 5%ok for eyebrows?
I tried this back last year in March time I was getting great results but after 2-3 weeks of using it day and night I started getting super dry skin under my eyebrows which then caused them to shed. What can be done about this?
Put a little castor oil on your eyebrows before bed. Also it is normal for your eyebrows to shed
Don’t do it so often. Maybe every other day. Used those off days to apply some type of moisturizer.
Use one time a day and after it’s dry on your face use castor oil to avoid dry skin
I saw a dermatologist here on UA-cam and she said shedding is normal at the beginning.
Dr dray said put a vaseline petroleum gel around the eyebrows before putting a minoxidil on your brows

the night after i had put the minoxidil on my eyebrows i got heartburn in the middle of the night. never had heartburn before but i’m continuing bc do it for the brows😍
Lmao cant stop laughing
Minoxidil is a vasodilator and dilates blood vessels. It was actually discovered by accident and was used as heart medication and people noticed hair growth. Honestly with it being topical and mixed with glycol alcohol, I think there are safer products that do the same thing. Using rosemary oil and microneedling with a 0.5 needle will give you results without crazy dark circles, face bloating and fine lines which is a common when using heart medication on your face. This product can easily go systemic and for some people notice a lot of adverse side effects like face tightness and bloating, twitching, allergic responses, dark circles from dilated blood vessels etc. If it works for you then go off though. Just some need to be wary and should stick to a low dose and not do daily applications or twice a day because the product effect has been said to be 22 hours and there’s no point of reapplying.
LOL update
use it in the morning. Since it lowers blood pressure it can be bad using in before you sleep

I’m not a lucky person 😢after using Minoxidil on eyebrows nothing happened but my hand now fully hair 😭
Do you have to keep reapplying it to continue seeing results?
I would really like to try this on my eyebrows, but I suffer badly from Seborrheic Dermatitis on my eyebrows, and over the years I have lost a substantial amount of eyebrow density. I'm worried the known side effect of Rogaine "hair shedding" will occur like it does on the scalp. I want to hang on to what I have left while I still can. I would appreciate any thoughts on this, thank you.
Im going through the same thing. Are your eyebrows growing back in weird directions.
The shedding is only a temporary effect and is when the vellus hairs are replaced by terminal hairs
you are not alone. I have purchased and tried several related solutions for eyebrow seborrheic dermatitis, but in the end, only the following are left. Try the following:
1. When washing your face, use a small amount of Neutrogena Acne Stress Control cream wash instead of soap and apply it to the affected area or face and leave it for 2-3 minutes. Wash off afterwards.
2. Next, take a small amount of Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Triple-Action Toner on the palm of your hand and apply it to both eyebrows. And leave it for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
3. Apply a small amount of Neutrogena STUBBORN ACNE AM TREATMENT cream to each affected area.
The itchiness, stinging, and hair loss caused by seborrheic dermatitis will disappear within 24 hours. When the symptoms improve, the eyebrows grow automatically. After that, when washing your face, treat the eyebrows as gentle as possible so as not to leave out the eyebrows. However, if residues of Neutrogena STUBBORN ACNE AM TREATMENT accumulate and clog pores, hair loss occurs again due to difficulty in breathing, so you must thoroughly wash the residue inside the eyebrows when washing your face.
Best regards,

Short and sweet
Does minoxidil (LONOLOX) increase hair loss after stopping? Minoxidil (LONOLOX) almost always leads to increased, reversible hair growth (cf. a-t 6 [1988], 53, 10 [1988], 90 and 92). According to the observations of British clinicians, discontinuation of topical and oral minoxidil appears to promote hair loss that may exceed baseline levels. They describe a woman with no hair problems who developed massive facial hair after treating her severe high blood pressure with minoxidil tablets. She had to shave every 2-3 days. After discontinuation because of gastrointestinal disturbances, the hair on the head and eyebrows disappeared in addition to the beard. The patient required a wig. After taking it again, hair growth started again. There have been multiple reports of incipient balding in men whose hair density thinned below baseline after stopping topical minoxidil - an effect that was interpreted as the progression of natural male pattern baldness. The authors, on the other hand, consider minoxidil to be the possible trigger and assume a direct, gender-independent effect of minoxidil on the hair follicle, which could result in the growth of the follicle being dependent on minoxidil (KIDWAI, B.J., M. GEORGE: Lancet 340 [1992], 609).
