Absolutely beautiful sermon. Michael is def one of my top 2 fav philosophers to listen to. #1 being Ravi but even that is a close call. They're both on another level theologically. Thank God for you both!

Well, Ramsden actually seems like a very pleasant and fun man as opposed to most of the American televangelists and other manipulative religious nutjobs. But being an atheist, I didn't get even a hint of an argument for becoming a Christian. All I got was an invitation to go waste everybody's time - mine and yours - for free. That is literally what he said: by my beliefs I am morally obliged to go waste your time and money. I don't see any atheists suddenly wanting to spend time being preached to for this reason and I don't see any hindus or Muslims being converted by this either. But I don't think that that was what Ramsden tried to do. So actually he was just confirming those who already believe in their beliefs but not offering any arguments that would convince anybody else. Which begs the question: why would these points be convincing for Christians?
Michael Ramsden preach not to 'manipulative' anyone, but to re-establish our belief in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God who was born as a man and sacrificed his sinless life, for the sins of mankind, so that "whoever believe in Him will not perish, but have eternal life".
