    One of the Cheap and Best beginner Socket Set you can buy. The USP of this product is that it has Sockets in both Imperial and Metric Sizes. If you are looking for Inch type sockets, you can consider this. Well, in India, Metric SI System has been Implemented. But, somewhere here and there, we always find need for Inch Tools.

    which one is better from the quality point of view like Heat treatment, Harding etc.? Taparia, Stanley or Amazon Basics.

      Well, most of them are Chinese, there is nothing like the best. I have used all 3, and can't really differentiate.
      Note: Not all AmazonBasics have same quality

      There will be basic wear and tear. Generally sockets last long even if their surface gets damaged. Business end of 6 point sockets will last longer than 12 point ones

      If you want to make life long investment in tools as in this tool is built to last a lifetime then go for Taparia, Tata Agrico, Gedore RED, Force, Stanley, JPT- in that order else if it is tp then go for Amazon Basics or any chinesium crap.

    How is this socket set after 6 months of usage?
    Do you recommend buying spark plug socket separately or buy Stanley socket set which has spark plug socket?

    • @smartdiyer
      @smartdiyer  2 роки тому +2

      Sparkplug is must for motorcycles. If the kit doesn't contain, no issues. You already have in your Motorcycle tool kit.
      This socket is still great. For my motorcycle work, I prefer stanley the most. Last week I used stanley for piston ring replacement of my motorcycle.

    • @smartdiyer

      Even if you own 1/2" socket, you can do almost 90% of jobs. But you still need some special ones like 8mm T Spanner, some open end spanners. Buy according to your needs.

    bro this tool set costed how much when you bought it? many are saying its of 1500 ,but now its showing 1750 now..also i am buying this for bike works (i own pulsar N250), and to open drive sprocket cover , the nuts are deep inside where a spanner can't go in..i have very low knowledge on tools, and i saw many ppl giving good reviews about this socket tool..my need is not a ratchet but the socket only to remove nuts that can't reached by typical spanners.. should i consider this for my bike , as it has different sizes of nuts, in which are a bit deep to remove.. pls provide your valuable advice or should i buy something else..??

    • @smartdiyer
      @smartdiyer  Рік тому +1

      I paid 1489. Understand one thing. You cant have enough tools. In a motorcycle for a specific job (removing sprocket cover) we need specific tools, like long and thin T spanner (8mm). If we use the one in the socket set, it is very thick. So, I would say, buy tools as needed. If you really want to work on engines, you should buy a 1/2" set instead of 3/8th
