Today we finally play Jack, a character that was released BEFORE the 1.0 Brotato update, but I never got around to play him. We go for a special strategy where the plan is to get as many bonus enemies as possible, since the enemies drop 3x material but you start with 4x less enemies - however, the increase from Gentle Alien and Mouse still fully apply, so if you have 5 Gentle Alien (+25%), you double the amount of enemies, up to a maximum of 5 times the amount of enemies with triple the amount of material drops, or in other words: Get rich quick.
The weapon of choice is the Shuriken, rather for the sake of being stubborn because it was called bad and I love the Shuriken, however against what I expected it actually turned out way stronger than I thought it would, and surprisingly: It's DPS according to the Wiki is actually higher on tier IV compared to the Slingshot, which is stronger on Tier 1 to Tier 3.

Giant Belt is the best item you can get on Jack, but you didn't have it unlocked, because you get it from Jack himself

At 12:24 you reroll to buy 4 melee damage, but doing the math (4 * 0.42 * 1.38) / 36 = 6.1% damage increase, while the the 12% damage increase is actually a true 8.6% increase ( (1.38 + 0.12) / 1.38 = 1.086), you're undervaluing percent damage. generally you want to favor percent damage over base. I should probably do the math on ideal ratio's at some point.

Nice run! I've tried Jack on D0 a few times and failed :( Your Peacock on wave 29 made me laugh tho :) Ps - why not explosives + rip n tear? I find that a nice melee combo!
Isn't it always best when you level to grab 5+ harvesting at level 2 because it grows over time = more for long run than any other stat

i could imagine that the shuriken build works well with sifd´s relic :D if you do enough bounces with enough damage around the map you have infinite money XD
I've done this and you kill everything and collect every penny! you can stand still for the whole wave if you are strong enough (5x gecko also works IIRC)

If targeting crit off drop usually maxxed by 8 but im speaking for loud ive not used jack at all yet

What about Shurikens with Renegade character? he has +2 projectiles, not sure if it is counting also shurikens... if yes... well, 300% more attacks?
i know what triggered the nullify .. the hand item ( the red) one wich gives you 1 damge per second
if it wasn't for that 50% extra damage you would have been one-shot anyway with 62.6666 hp damage (if it's multiplicative and not additive with the character's bonus). would it round up to 63 or down to 62? who knows, but that 15% dodge you missed out on could have definitely saved your bacon (makes me wonder if you can get >=100% dodge or if there's a cap outside of Ghost's 90%) not getting more gentle alien was pretty rum too, being a T1 item I'm guessing it gets harder to obtain once your luck starts increasing?
bonus: if you're on PC, press 9 to hear Dex being constipated

He did that already :D He outscaled the enemies to oblivion and it could have went on for infinity so he had to quit the game.

It uses melee damage instead of range damage. It's a range weapon yet it uses melee
