I'd never be in the market if I sold off whenever I saw a youtube video screaming SELL OFF, yes stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do your math right, you should be just fine. Luxury brands like Dior, Louis Vuitton and Mercedes sales are booming lately, so I think there's enough money to go around if you know where to look.

without doubt, I've come to realize both bear and bull market provide opportunities to make high gains, I used to call bluff on folks that bragged about making a fortune from such down-markets until I happened to do so myself, made $750k in the past 9months and it still shocks me how ignorant I've been all these years. it all boils down to strategies and it's rightful application.

in my view yes, you need to invest in something otherwise you lose to inflation. Also you need to think long term, hire a financial advisor to help you diversify your portfolio by including Mutual Funds, Etf's, the 11 GICS groups, inflation-indexed bonds, and stocks of companies with reliable cash flows rather than growth stocks, where prices were based on future prospective earnings.

The top 10 businesses from thirty years ago are no longer the top 10. Market leaders alter every 20 to 30 years. The SP500 takes in a wider market, pushes start-up stocks from the Russell, and NATURALLY (without liquidation or selling) establishes a stake on it over time, much as what occurred to Tesla. As long as you don't sell it, the SP500 would likely to be heavily weighted toward the best-performing equities, just like a typical portfolio. Apple makes up 7% of the index since it increased in value over time. The SP500 is a self-correcting portfolio. Facebook did go down, therefore its impact on the portfolio has decreased over time to the point that we no longer perceive it altering or having an impact. @@Kankasin Yup! Just as he said "anyone who buys crypto is an idiot" and etc... Whatever they trash-talk, buy, whatever they push, sell.
Also, as far as inflation goes, inflation is the dollar's and US's least worry because much worse things are about to happen to both (but also partially because of said inflation itself).
The world is dedollarizing... soon the USD won't be the world's reserve currency anymore, and the US will default, won't be able to print money to fix it's economic downturns OR inflation, hyperinflation will begin, a rush to alternative assets and gold will begin (already has), and the US/western empire will officially be over, with the EU/NATO having the same exact situation... thus the world will shift towards Russia, China, India, UAE, etc... So if any of these rich old dudes are talking about how great investing like the past 50 years is going to be today or going forward, they either don't know what they are talking about or are, as you said, searching for exit liquidity.

A genius, but politically not well educated (like almost all americans)....When saying he is proud, that the US integrated US and Japan into its empire, instead of breaking it apart, he doesn't understand (or at least he doesn't say this, because there is no true freedom of speech in US obviously), that this has happend not because the US is such a generous and great country, BUT because the US wanted to use militaristic nations Germany and Japan, who are sitting on DIRECT periphery of Russia as military bases to project US power onto Russian soil (and now China and whole Eurasia as well). So....no.....I am not proud, that the US colonizes all of the world with green printed paper, called US-Dollar and bad quality products....a hegemony is always a dictatorship and will historically always fail. We see it in Ukraine, Israel.... it is just the beginning....luckily good old Charlie won't see all of the tragedies, that'll come on our world in the coming years, all because the Washington gang won't accept, that it cannot rule the world, that the world doesn't want to be ruled by the island nation of US. The downfall of the last anglo-saxon empire, the global Five-Eyes-Regime and so of the US as imperial metropolis will come and will be painful for the whole world.

How is it possible that one of the biggest media companies in the world can't set up a simple video call without so many interruptions? Something that any kid and their dog knows how to do. Disgraceful

RIP guys in the control room after Becky gets her hands on them... I hope Charlie has many more years of this. He'll surely outlive whoever Becky was talking about when she said on air "sounds like they’re not hearing folks. I don’t know if anyone is in the control room or if you guys have any ideas about what’s happening."

Big-up to Becky Quick for her professionalism handling the TERRIBLE technical problems evident in this meeting.
She has my full permission to hit those responsible.
