It.. unfortunately wasn't. They had to pull the vocals from a previous recording he did for this song. His last song he performed for the series was "Butter-fly tri. Ver.". By the point they had intended to do this song, he was not able to sing anymore. In fact, if you listen to his vocals for Butter-fly on tri., you can hear him gasping a bit while he's singing...
I remember pointing that out and was hoping I was hearing things, but I guess I wasn't... It was obvious something wasn't right when he was unable to show up at the August Digimon event a couple years back...
I wish that last bout of Cancer he went through hadn't done him in.

en persona fue maravilloso.. tuve la dicha de ir a un concierto que dio en mi ciudad y fue muy sencillo y amable me dio 2 autografos y nos tomamos una foto que esta enmarcada en mi habitacion... la verdad en ese concierto ya se le oia afectada su voz por el cancer pero aun asi dio todo de si ... sus canciones y su voz son hermosas
Idem. Nunca lo vi en persona, nunca fui a un recital suyo, pero me hace llorar y me transmite muchísima emoción su voz. Cuando me enteré que falleció me dio mucha tristeza... para mí es y va a ser siempre la voz de Digimon y de la infancia.
Creo que esta cancion impacta tanto porque se nota en la forma en la que expresa las palabras que sabe que es su ultima canción. La hermosura de las notas y los tonos en los cuales dice cada silaba muestran que quizo hacer esa canción la mejor de todas.

Que os sirva de ejemplo, porque este hombre es una leyenda, no sólo por su voz sino por su lucha contra el cáncer así es el pasó sus últimos años de vida cantando y luchando contra un cáncer, siempre te recordaremos Kouji Wada, tu esfuerzo nos servirá de ejemplo, para demostrar que en este vida lo más importante es perseguir tus metas sin importar tus limitaciones.
