One of the best things that has happened to this channel, besides the wonderful projects, is seeing Pops getting fully involved in your stuff! It's priceless. We love Pops.
I truly believe that was an excellent run at that Camaro. For the first attempt at building a restomod you did as well as expected. You got mislead from the beginning and now you have a car for life. May as well throw more money into it and make it your own. My favorite build of all time. I've watched them all.
What I love about these guys is they're not afraid to show the issues associated with classic builds. Always transparent with us as fans and I respect that nothing is perfect but they do the best they can and deliver fun content.
That's true, but also not necessarily accurate. They kitted this thing out with insane parts. They could've done it for wayyyy cheaper if they didn't want that to be a track car
Great build guys!! Glad to see it on the road and driving. I 'finished' my 68 Camaro LS swap last year and loved watching you struggle through similar issues (you never really finish a project car!). Also, for those complaining about the cost, a friend of mine using similar components to you is currently over $150k on his 69 camaro - mostly since he's having someone else build it. Can't wait for the next build!
Funny how Pops came in with the hoodie on and pulled out the bolts like he been flippin bricks. Good job guys. Throw some thread lock on that bracket worse case.
What a great job on the car. Whoever picked the color deserves a reward - it looks both Mean and Beautiful at the same time. Then there is the sound it makes as well as the way it tracks around a corner. You two have really hit it out of the park on this rebuild/restoration...
All i can say please dont give up on this car it obviously still has alot of quirks to work out but dont be down on yourselves for it, its your first time building something like this and youve changed the car completely from oem, the thing needs driven and tested to perfection, loved this build and hope you do another like it in the future
Absolutely love how the Camaro turned out. I was skeptical of the blue at first but it looks good. And please guys before you hurt yourself or someone else, go to a track and practice counter steering and loosing control and correcting it.
You're going to be putting more into it. The suspension can't stay that low because of the transmission and the car sitting low destroying the body. After putting the 4 link in it I'd definitely lift it up about 3". If you don't it'll be a museum pice or smooth pavement princess. Incredible build so far for sure. 👍
The car is far from "done" and $150 is a really big stretch but I have to say, I love the transparency showing stuff like the lost caliper bolt and the rubbing tire/bondo issue.
Its restomods, particularly LT or Coyote swapped that cost this kind of money. A somewhat modified car with a basic LS you could do for almost half of this, and an stock/ original car would run the same usually worst case scenario, but almost always way less. I've restored several classics, done them myself. This one is abnormally expensive, even for what they paid for everything minus their own labor cost.
Glad to see someone that agrees. They say it’s “done” but there’s still holes in the fenders where badges went, the paint definitely needs another wet sand or something, the trim around the windows is either missing, still chrome, or paint chipping off the chrome. Seems like all their “done” projects are never actually finished, they just move on to the next one
The nose flex is no bueno, only a matter of time for this thing to tear itself apart. Count yourself fortunate that you have the freedom to do these builds. Very few of us could ever dream of doing this.
REALLY loved this project... this generation Camaro has ALWAYS been my ultimate dream car project! i LOVE that you bought a donor car for the LT4 engine, GREAT idea! The one thing I would have liked to see you do is a FULL frame swap to really stiffen up everything on this car.
Just an aesthetics comment here: Really like the headlights however I can’t say I like the silver rims on the back. Black rims is the way to go if you’re using those lights.
Fantastic! Really turned out so sweet. Loved the rolling shots in action and the price reveal at the different spots. Yeah, keeping a fire extinguisher (or two) on board is really a must with a classic car. When we look at the wrecked car its really a heck of a save and the junk yard ZL1 was a sweet buy for sure. Congrats guys on getting it completed. Kudos to Pops for always coming thru with whatever it takes. He is such a blessing. Loved seeing the doggie. He is so huge now... is that Max?
It was great to get a parts break down also what the coat nof the parts. The series on the Camaro was awesome. I love seeing pops around the shop and getting involved in everything also the builds.
wow, thats amazing, all the work that was put into this car. We are currently restoring my dads 69 convertible camaro, gonna do a whole custom interior, sound system and more

I wasn't sure about this build, but so happy to see how you stuck with it an did a great job. A suggestion for future builds; I know you want to be quick to declare it done and do the price breakdowns, but you could do a quality assurance/control video or two before doing these. For quite a few of your cars, there are little bits and pieces that seem to remain (sometimes for a while). It would be nice to see you show how you clean up those wires for the trunk, see you actually go through and tighten the bolts, test the sturdiness of sections, go through the connections, test vehicle clearance, etc. Love your content as always, and I think if you added those to your build process, it will be better for your cars, reputation, and even viewership. Remember, this is a resto mod, so it is for cruising and a little "fun", not for too much "fun". In other words, take care of it and don't beat on it. You have enough other cars for that purpose. Keep the awesome work going.
That Camaro has to be the sweetest ride you have ever build...I love it the colour is amazing...And those headlights make it look out of this world...One heck of an expense to rebuild it but worth every penny..

And last but not least the LABOR. The labor on this beast came to a grand total of 3.4 million dollars. Goonzquad work is top notch and comes in at a round TOP DOLLAR!! Good work boys, congrats once again.
Another nice build guys. Definitely a keeper because it’s worth more to you than what you could sell it for. A lot of those 6 figure Camaros have most or all original parts. The more original the more the value. Still a nice build.
I disagree a little! Yes an original car gets top dollar but a non car collector car lover that wants a mint camaro with 650hp reliable modern engine would pay top dollar! With the right buyer they would get 150k and if you had several buyers wanting it or at auction 150k to 200k! That's a rare car today and built with a 20k engine it's worth 150k no problem! An all original mint condition in the 250k to 300k range I'd guess! It's like anything if someone falls in love with a car and has the money they will pay whatever! With a bit more work done to it and new paint job you have to admit it's a special car! Interior is mint condition and 20k engine it's 150k easily! If someone offered them 200k they would sell it and I would not be surprised if they get a few real offers for it definitely at 150k to start off!

I would like to record that I believe the next build should be a BMW, you guys love power, drift and burnouts, nothing better than a beamer to do this... I'd also really like you to buy that Bentley from your neighbor. Two classic cars in the collection would be quite a sight. A new and more powerful truck for pops it would been Nice aswell. and also... Love from Brasil!!!
Add in another 12-15 thousand to correct the shotty body work and paint😂 you would end up having to pay the customer if you did that kinda bodywork as a shop

Awesome build guys, it defo needs a low profile oil pan and you should consider smaller wheels to save you a lot of pain later.
Sadly, that's the trans pan. They need to lift the front.
they need to lift the front and back a bit more.
19 inch wheels (down from the 20s) should give them clearance on those rear guards.

These guys are very fortunate to be able to do what they love together as brothers. RIP Nick 9-24-21. Miss you everyday bro.
No License plates again….you all need to do the right thing
yall need that slap stick ASAP ! would love to see it switching gears when yall choose !
I really hope you guys fix that ds door dent... it's all I see when I look at that car lol... highly doubt it went how you think. More likely someone bought it back from insurance or bought from copart and took it back after engine swap to sell.
"My goodness man I'm telling you. Let's keep going!" Hahahah that cracked me up Billy 21:35
I worked for Diamond Auto Parts for a long time. back in the 90's. Nice to see them helpin' out !
I love how the thing I'm shocked at is how cheap the headlights and taillights were, $120!?
Nasty modern LED's are quadruple that 😆
yeah the boys bought some gross eBay trash this time, the headlights, taillights, and stereo system are all flea market garbage
Pops at 3:08 LOL 😂
How bout a foxbody mustang drag build or just a foxbody mustang in general?
What a beautiful car. Love the blue. Great headlights that set the car off. Great job!
That thing sounds awesome 👍🏻. Love the whine
Agreed
Popcorn machine
BMWs come from the factory as lemons. One thing goes wrong with them you have to tear the whole car apart. Why would you wish that on them.
@@tahmaskenchers1782 no idea what is wrong with the BMW's you guys buy in the US but over in the UK M4's M5 etc go all day long without any problems.
Mean machine there boyz🤙🏾🤙🏾
Love all the work you guys put in on the Camaro
Let's go Phillies! great build BTW!
That breaker bar on the intake clamp... 😆
That's good stuff boys 🤘🏻
Get this thing dyno tuned asap! Love watching this build keep it up !
Add in another 12-15 thousand to correct the shotty body work and paint😂 you would end up having to pay the customer if you did that kinda bodywork as a shop
Exactly among other things :)
Yeah, I would be filing a big Lawsuit.
Don't act like you wouldn't be happy with this car in its condition
Y'all need to organize the wiring in the trunk.
Sh*t I'd hate to see what the wiring looks like under the dash.
@@bretjjjohnson7942 agreed.
I love this build! FYI, while “costed” is the correct past tense of cost, the usage is obsolete. Just say “it cost” and you’ll sound a lot more intelligent. ;)
Give me a break my guy… they say “dude”8,000 times per episode and butcher a multitude of words. They’re not shooting for a display of intelligence.
Not nice you can't even pronounce Z right. Proper English Grammer it's zed. Not. Zeeeee
@@jordanbest3926 Well I agree, Intelligence is not one of their greatest assets.
Y’all got name it. Like Christine . It really could be used in a movie. I like it❤
Loctite threadlocker sons. You need to use that on the bracket adaptors.
You guys should do a video and talk about everything that’s currently wrong or needs fixing and what steps you guys might take on all of your builds on the second channel!
Its would take at least 10 vids to explain that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@mixalis6168 facts it's built to look good on camera only.
