This episode was both a price breakdown AND a Camaro breakdown! 😂
2 vids in 1 good.
Made me laugh even before i watched the video!
This bondo death trap is not worth 150k
@@ssenssel hater alert!! 😂
@@bigtigga2007 he has a point tho. It is nowhere near 150k
One of the best things that has happened to this channel, besides the wonderful projects, is seeing Pops getting fully involved in your stuff! It's priceless.
We love Pops.
What I love about these guys is they're not afraid to show the issues associated with classic builds. Always transparent with us as fans and I respect that nothing is perfect but they do the best they can and deliver fun content.
Glad y’all are transparent about the prices. You sometimes want to build a classic car until you see how hard and how much money it really takes.
That's true, but also not necessarily accurate. They kitted this thing out with insane parts. They could've done it for wayyyy cheaper if they didn't want that to be a track car
Thanks for making an old man happy. I love the cars of 60's and 70's. Great job! "Respect"
I truly believe that was an excellent run at that Camaro. For the first attempt at building a restomod you did as well as expected. You got mislead from the beginning and now you have a car for life. May as well throw more money into it and make it your own. My favorite build of all time. I've watched them all.
Have to agree. Would love to see another resto-mod type build at some point. It was a good mix-up from the usual builds.
@@Onlooker71 I think this the first & last .
They need to do 2.0 build with one them custom hot rod chassis and have someone wire it up for them
I liked the lambo, ferrari and builds like that better, but this was also a nice project
Lol it was a botched attempt
Great build guys!! Glad to see it on the road and driving. I 'finished' my 68 Camaro LS swap last year and loved watching you struggle through similar issues (you never really finish a project car!). Also, for those complaining about the cost, a friend of mine using similar components to you is currently over $150k on his 69 camaro - mostly since he's having someone else build it. Can't wait for the next build!
What a great job on the car. Whoever picked the color deserves a reward - it looks both Mean and Beautiful at the same time. Then there is the sound it makes as well as the way it tracks around a corner. You two have really hit it out of the park on this rebuild/restoration...
Funny how Pops came in with the hoodie on and pulled out the bolts like he been flippin bricks. Good job guys. Throw some thread lock on that bracket worse case.
He knows a thing or two 😏
That cracked me up too! It made me wonder was he being silly, because if he was he has a great sense of humor!
They been bumping Dolph around pops. He learning the game.
What’s dolph
@@laska907 Young Dolph. Rapper that was killed.
Pops at 3:08 LOL 😂
All i can say please dont give up on this car it obviously still has alot of quirks to work out but dont be down on yourselves for it, its your first time building something like this and youve changed the car completely from oem, the thing needs driven and tested to perfection, loved this build and hope you do another like it in the future
REALLY loved this project... this generation Camaro has ALWAYS been my ultimate dream car project! i LOVE that you bought a donor car for the LT4 engine, GREAT idea! The one thing I would have liked to see you do is a FULL frame swap to really stiffen up everything on this car.
video was amazing, i like how you recorded the car from the truck, i been watching yall for years and you keep getting better
Awesome build guys, it defo needs a low profile oil pan and you should consider smaller wheels to save you a lot of pain later.
Sadly, that's the trans pan. They need to lift the front.
they need to lift the front and back a bit more.
19 inch wheels (down from the 20s) should give them clearance on those rear guards.
@@DuckReach432 That's not how wheel sizing works.
@@mrb2917 It works if they keep the same tyre sidewall profile. A smaller rolling diameter means more clearance.
You guys did a fantastic job building this together 👌🏽 especially for the first old-school build
Just started watching you guys. Right now I'm in the series where you rebuilt your goonsquad HQ in the mountains.. awesome work. Can't wait to see the end... much respect for doing alot of the work yourself... 🙌
Thanks guys for letting us enjoy the build love the classics
One in a half year worth to wait. Respect for you guys for making an awesome build 👍👍
I wasn't sure about this build, but so happy to see how you stuck with it an did a great job. A suggestion for future builds; I know you want to be quick to declare it done and do the price breakdowns, but you could do a quality assurance/control video or two before doing these. For quite a few of your cars, there are little bits and pieces that seem to remain (sometimes for a while). It would be nice to see you show how you clean up those wires for the trunk, see you actually go through and tighten the bolts, test the sturdiness of sections, go through the connections, test vehicle clearance, etc.
Love your content as always, and I think if you added those to your build process, it will be better for your cars, reputation, and even viewership. Remember, this is a resto mod, so it is for cruising and a little "fun", not for too much "fun". In other words, take care of it and don't beat on it. You have enough other cars for that purpose. Keep the awesome work going.
Your video editing and picture capturing is most definitely getting better! Happy to see your growth. Stay well
First off I want to say congratulations once again on the wedding and the new house being built, we all love what you all done with the 67 Camaro everything looks beautiful including that beautiful blue love the lt4 swap you guys exceeded what we thought from this bill, hoping to see this car in car shows in the near future
Honestly think this is my favorite rebuild and I've seen every rebuild since the first jeep crazy to see how far y'all came
The car is far from "done" and $150 is a really big stretch but I have to say, I love the transparency showing stuff like the lost caliper bolt and the rubbing tire/bondo issue.
yeah, its pretty shoddily done. probably worth less than they paid to rebuild it
Its restomods, particularly LT or Coyote swapped that cost this kind of money. A somewhat modified car with a basic LS you could do for almost half of this, and an stock/ original car would run the same usually worst case scenario, but almost always way less. I've restored several classics, done them myself. This one is abnormally expensive, even for what they paid for everything minus their own labor cost.
Glad to see someone that agrees. They say it’s “done” but there’s still holes in the fenders where badges went, the paint definitely needs another wet sand or something, the trim around the windows is either missing, still chrome, or paint chipping off the chrome. Seems like all their “done” projects are never actually finished, they just move on to the next one

These guys are very fortunate to be able to do what they love together as brothers. RIP Nick 9-24-21. Miss you everyday bro.
Love the rollers guys! Do this more often! Also miss you guys taking the cars to the track!!
Absolutely love how the Camaro turned out. I was skeptical of the blue at first but it looks good. And please guys before you hurt yourself or someone else, go to a track and practice counter steering and loosing control and correcting it.
The price is going to keep going up from the tickets they are going to get!
spinout in very beginning was amateur lol
Low profile tires spin too easy more sidewall helps a ton
Alas, an insane car will be sold (in the future of course). I would personally keep it if I could because of the vintage look but hey, keep at it man. Y'all make amazing content which I'm not gonna lie, have been keeping me more interested into other cars, not just vintage, jdm, tuner, sports or even supercar cars. I really loved your content ever since the Ford Mustang. I even went through your past videos from the house, to the jeep. And have been keeping tabs on what you guys do but I've only ever slowed down on your videos due to work. Doesn't mean I'm not gonna continue watching them though. Much love from Singapore, hope you guys stay safe as well. And most importantly, don't push yourselves too hard when working yeah.
I love seeing POPS in your videos and cant imagine them without him. Peace from Texas.
Amazing job guys! it turned out insane! We all been waiting for this build for over a year and thank God you decided to get it thru !! you can't never get enough of that engine roar and supercharger wisthle when revving up!
Not sure if already on your plans , but it would be awesome to get Paul from 23rd Garage take care of the paint job ;).
love the build, the overspray under the car is killing me though lol
I was just going to say that was well lol I hope they fix that please lol
Half ass !
It ruined it for me
And how they painted over the lock on the trunk lmao
Will get it fixed soon :)
Great editing with all the old video's of the parts en wrecked car! Nice work guys!!
Amazing Camaro,I can't believe that it's this,I remember seeing ur videos and in the back ground I would see that Camaro, now it's driving and it's now an awesome car, glad to see another american muscle on the streets, have an amazing day guys, keep up the great builds.
wow, thats amazing, all the work that was put into this car. We are currently restoring my dads 69 convertible camaro, gonna do a whole custom interior, sound system and more
I'm half way through this vid and I gotta say...yall are amazing first off. A costume classic like this takes around what yall got into it time wise. Second off you guys bring rhe best content out of 90% of all of UA-cam in my opinion. You have a a super awesome build and you did it yourself. Just it being what it is is a monumental achievement in itself. She is sexxy hope that vocabulary isn't ro much for your channel. I watch all yall do and I love every second of it. Keep doing what you do! Enough talk back to this amazing but probably never done build. You have a gem no matter how you put it!
Congratulations guys on the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro it look Awesome I know ya'll are glad to be able to drive it anywhere on the road. Thanks for letting us watch ya'll build a nice car.
I really like how you did the price reveal it’s different from the way other people do it👍👍
Fantastic! Really turned out so sweet. Loved the rolling shots in action and the price reveal at the different spots. Yeah, keeping a fire extinguisher (or two) on board is really a must with a classic car. When we look at the wrecked car its really a heck of a save and the junk yard ZL1 was a sweet buy for sure. Congrats guys on getting it completed. Kudos to Pops for always coming thru with whatever it takes. He is such a blessing. Loved seeing the doggie. He is so huge now... is that Max?
no .. not Max. I think they named her Julia...if my memory serves me correct
It looks very very good. You guys did a awesome job. I’ve been watching you guys for like four years now I love watching you rebuild cars
This was a highly entertaining episode -- the way bolts and paint kept breaking off as you were describing how much money you spent working on it -- classic! You guys are the best!
If they ever try to sell this car they better delete the build videos, especially this one where it had a loose caliper and then needed fire extinguishers. lol.
The car is literally destroying itself as they drive it... Dang son 🤕
I thought I was the only one who thought that.
@@paulk4257 classic cars are a different animal. I think the boys may think twice next time
Yeah, They're tearing it up. neither one of them know how to drive.
I’m not into ‘murican cars in general but that thing is beautiful. Of all the builds you’ve done and the wrecks you’ve saved this is the one I think you guys should be most proud of.
I personally will miss that 67C, but it was really nice and worth learning. thank you guys.
It looks great! We all wanted to see it completed. Thanks for seeing it through.
But they didn't complete it....and likely won't
@@bobwatfprd2328 Par for the course.
@@bobwatfprd2328 I understand what you are saying. There are a lot of mounting, little things that still need to be done. I really meant from a visual aspect, we can finally see what this whole car looks like.
You're going to be putting more into it. The suspension can't stay that low because of the transmission and the car sitting low destroying the body. After putting the 4 link in it I'd definitely lift it up about 3". If you don't it'll be a museum pice or smooth pavement princess. Incredible build so far for sure. 👍
Yeah the car is flexing and twisting big time! It needs a lot of bracing!!
And last but not least the LABOR. The labor on this beast came to a grand total of 3.4 million dollars. Goonzquad work is top notch and comes in at a round TOP DOLLAR!! Good work boys, congrats once again.
My opinion is that, this ine is one of the beat looking and sounding cars you've build guys! These head lights look amazing and the lip is great. Congrats and keep up with the good work with this car, she is definitely deserves all the love
Fricken awesome. Thanks for the follow through from start to finish. Cheers from New Zealand 🇳🇿 😀 😊
My dream nd my favorite color, I appreciate the time nd dedication ya'll put into this classic car
That Camaro has to be the sweetest ride you have ever build...I love it the colour is amazing...And those headlights make it look out of this world...One heck of an expense to rebuild it but worth every penny..
So happy your making good money on the channel especially with so many ads commercials and such. I dont think you will get anything over 80 to 90k but I really appreciate the content yall rock.
All do respect men, "costed" is not a word. It cost this much for the parts.
A real friend would share the truth with you.
Peace
It's "all due respect" mate. 👍
👆
Absolutely love the vintage camero! Add 2 while racing stripes right down the middle would really top it off! Great recovery guys!
One of the best camaro builds on the tube. Awesome build boys
You guys put the E in entertainment. Love watching your shows. To the state I have not missed one since you rebuilt the green four seater Jeep! You’re awesome
This channel has mastered the art of never showing a fully complete rebuild😂👍
100 percent done but we still have to do ........ yep. 😆
That seems to be the norm with their last few builds !
Facts lmao
😂😂 NBS
and trying to get TOP dollar
Love all the work you guys put in on the Camaro
Another nice build guys. Definitely a keeper because it’s worth more to you than what you could sell it for. A lot of those 6 figure Camaros have most or all original parts. The more original the more the value. Still a nice build.
I disagree a little! Yes an original car gets top dollar but a non car collector car lover that wants a mint camaro with 650hp reliable modern engine would pay top dollar! With the right buyer they would get 150k and if you had several buyers wanting it or at auction 150k to 200k! That's a rare car today and built with a 20k engine it's worth 150k no problem! An all original mint condition in the 250k to 300k range I'd guess! It's like anything if someone falls in love with a car and has the money they will pay whatever! With a bit more work done to it and new paint job you have to admit it's a special car! Interior is mint condition and 20k engine it's 150k easily! If someone offered them 200k they would sell it and I would not be surprised if they get a few real offers for it definitely at 150k to start off!
It was great to get a parts break down also what the coat nof the parts. The series on the Camaro was awesome. I love seeing pops around the shop and getting involved in everything also the builds.
such a beautiful car dudes. it aint perfect but yall got all the time in the world to make it show ready
Not likely.
Side exhaust would look really good on that beast😏😏
Bro imagine a side exhaust with boom tubes
100%
I would say it would cost more than 20k in labor for all that from beginning to finished. Awesome car and awesome video guys!
Never thought it would be this much! Thanks for layin open the Numbers. Apreciate it.
Great looking Camaro. Just need to bring to a good chassis shop to add tubing to the chassis and a roll bar , new paint !
The nose flex is no bueno, only a matter of time for this thing to tear itself apart. Count yourself fortunate that you have the freedom to do these builds. Very few of us could ever dream of doing this.
These types of videos are giving the forza stories kind of vibes. I really enjoy them!
3:08 the way pops is chilling is awesome
I love how pops and the ranger ranger always come in for the win in the end.
Should of used locktite on them brakes 🎃
I was thinking the same thing. The bolt probably vibrated off
This brings a very real light on those overkill projects in UA-cam. This is not cheap, even when UA-camrs say it is. The car looks amazing BTW
Loved the way you guys showed that parts from previous videos when you were listing them. one of my favorite builds keep up the good work
This Goonzquad build is amazing and they did a really good job!
Just an aesthetics comment here:
Really like the headlights however I can’t say I like the silver rims on the back. Black rims is the way to go if you’re using those lights.
Amazing job guys. The interior looks sweet and the work you put in the guts of that thing amazing. Thank you for sharing the numbers, I'm sure it's a huge learning experience for you guys. I hope the return on investment is much better for you guys on the Porsche, as always will be tuned in for the next one good luck guys.
That’s like the most incredible build ever, the workmanship would make Chuck Foose proud.
That supercharger whine sounds awesome. The build was worth it. Well done boys. 🤙🤙
Boys that was an outstanding build. Thank You for doing it. Us old car guys love the classics.
Next up… clean up some of that overspray in the wheel wells and under the rear + paint those wheels, son!
Definitely my fav build ❤❤well done GOONZQUAD
What a beautiful car. Love the blue. Great headlights that set the car off. Great job!
Its probably worth 45 - 50k all the goodies are cool but the value is in the history, this is just a salvage. A badass hot car but actual value is on what the buyer is willing to pay. She sounds like a rattle trap on the road. Looks pretty cool, if you get a good 4 link /and prove it on track it could go to 60k
I agree with you. Salvage not restored.
This is quite possibly the best looking car in your collection!
That Viper is fire too though!!
Nah the hood looks stupid when theres nothing under the bump
100K for a non concourse quality Camaro is a ton of money, It's great to have money and unlimited shop time. Hats off to you. I noticed flaked paint on the the front vent window frames and cheap hose clamps. For what you spent on some things, you went cheap on others.
Classic car are always worth watching being repaired, awesome work boys. 👍 Keep up the good work. OEM only 👌
I’d feel really bad for the guy that bought this for $150,000.00. Parts are all there no doubt but seems like it’ll have endless issues going forward.
Yup - its cobbled together with corners cut everywhere!
@@Forcefed2002 I agree, me personally its a beautiful car but the workmanship is sub par, I would think they might break even if sold.... Maybe...
@@Forcefed2002 they got way to much into a a halfass car things only worth like $80k max they way it sits lol
It's a bucket!
You can't buy one of these classics and not expect endless issues, that's the appeal.
I hope there are not many cops in your town. Your going to screw around and get a ticket for exhibition of speed. I'm not telling you what to do but I would recommend finding some place off a public road to do what your doing. All I'm doing is speaking from experience you do not want to loose your license!
this is by far the most satisfying and jaw dropping build so far
I love what you guys have done with this beautiful car, but it really needs the chrome bumpers put back on! Much respect from Downunder guys. Love seeing these build’s you guys do
Chrome hell no
Love the build. And the car hopefully you do an update on it. With all the bugs fixed. And matching rims... ( Cough cough Gun metal rims ). Anyway can't wait for the Porsche now
The Camarro looks amazing but you boys really gotta take care of all the wiring in the trunk. I know it osnt visible to the open eye but whenever the trunk is open.... it's a mess to the eye. Hide that stuff boys. Dang.
That thing sounds awesome 👍🏻. Love the whine
Good to see you read my comment on a couple videos back and straightened out the back ss emblem in this video lmao
Dream car! Man perfect color and all, I wish I could just drive this thing.
Yo guys your calipers are moving when you're driving keep up the good work
goonzquad = 1000% enthusiasm 80% build completion. But we all know it and enjoy the show
It looks EPIC guys. Seriously. It’s got mad presence. Excellent job. I’d drive that proudly here in the UK. lol. 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely my favorite build of all! My girlfriend even likes this one.
Let's go Phillies! great build BTW!
That breaker bar on the intake clamp... 😆
That's good stuff boys 🤘🏻
Lovely! This car is a real death trap, i would not sell it because other owners will maybe not so carefull with bumps or the power it has, its insane that you guys keep it real and dont full gass all the time !
Its a lovely car hopefully we will still see the car in the back ground ! 😍
That camaro in gloss red is a different beast . Blue is just ok but thag thing in red omg
Awesome job keeping the videos coming. Build a C8.
