Smoking tone dude !!! it makes me wanna get a setup akin to this too... never a fender amp guy but lately been gassing for a fendery tone amp... this clip you did is off the bat...
Yeah, i'd say that nails it. That amp cranked IS the tone on that album along with the Bill n Becky pup and I'd guess, the RAT only on leads for that album. Nuno is digging into the rythms for the rest.
Every once in a blue moon i break out my twin reissue and hook up the boss tae and with a boost in front, it's wild. It's similar to this but with more of a fender twang to it imo. Very cool tone.
Can you explain what you did to send the signal from the Vibro to the external amp set up? Im thinking there is a preamp output off the back of the amp and that is what you sent to the Fryette..unless you did something to the "amplified" signal like take it down to line level then into the Fry? Thx-
@ I don’t know much about Joe Walsh but this is 100% one of my favorite amps. I wish it broke up a little more at a lower volume but it’s glorious. Since there is interest, I’ll do a longer video with different guitars so you can hear what it’s all about. Either way, I highly recommend it and if you see one, buy it.
Cool! @BigHairyGuitars alluded to it on his video but there is great discussion on this setup on Gearslutz (which you may already know). Had one of these for the same reason, but no Fryette PS. Had to sell for obvious reasons ha.
YES! HERE WE GO! ...Thank YOU BRO!
Thank YOU brother 👊🏻
That really is a great sound. Would not have expected that sound from that amp. Very cool vid and kudos also to Mike the legend.
1:48 - Here’s what it sounds like.
Eye opening gain from that amp.
Wow, that sounds fricking awesome, I did not expect that.
This is insane, the amp alone is unreal sounding

At the 2 min mark that sounds just like King's X/Ty Tabor as well! Great tone! Well done Alex - Jeff Allen
Very cool, great info and pkaying like always , thx
… and yes Michael Nielsens Channel , sounds and playing is so fantastic and inspiring
This was awesome you and Micheal are the best 🤟🏻
Amazing!
Sounds killer! Great video, Alex! Thank you!
Great sound
Thanks, info. 🤘👋✌️
Sounds great!!
In the studio a lot of options available...live, forget it
WTF I never would've thought you could get that kind of gain out of that amp.
sounds amazing \m/
Dude that sounds sick.
Cool! and totally agree about Micheal N, he should have 300k + subs.
Great work. Thanks! ❤
That sounds so sick

Is there any interview which notes he only used the rat for leads? Would love to read. Thx

THAT is a great tone.
In the age of mega, pristine distortion, this sounds like a real amp.
That is an amazing tone (to me anyway). I love bare bones set ups like this!🤘
Is the amp a re-issue? The old one are big money!
Yes it’s a reissue which also wasn’t easy to find. I was on the hunt for awhile. It’s an absolute must buy if you see one out in the wild.
I didn’t click on this video expecting gain like THAT from a Vibroverb!! Wow!
Awesome!
Thing absolutely roars
You can make everything sound good dude.
Please create a NAM profile for this setup
I don’t know what that is. Maybe it’s bc I’m
Old 🤣

There is a speaker out on the back of the amp. I just disconnected it from the combo’s internal speaker and sent it to the fryette.
Which version of the Rat pedal is that? Vintage one?
It’s brand new. I got it somewhat recently.
Heu... Nuno, Waiting For The P. = H&K Triamp + Boss effects...

🤘😎🤘
I like without the pedal
Are you the new King of Rig-Talk? 😂
I was banished from RT for having too many Cameron Amps.
@ I believe you haha!!!
Is that amp modded?
Nope. Stock. Just like a plexi, if you crank it, it gets very heavy.
@rockinchippy that's sick! Is that the same amp that joe Walsh used on funk 49? Also I'd love to hear a real single coil tele in that bad boy.

@@rockinchippy thanks champ!
The tone character is awesome!
