You really do pick many of my favorite songs I'm Paul (pmt) from your head and the band with no name I grew up on a council estate I Birmingham and aged 10 to 12 my radio cassette recorder never left my side only playing this specials more specials rubber soul Beatles greatest hits signing off UB40 regatta de blanc the police I was a rude boy by 1979 fully pledged at 10 my mum let me try to look like Terry hall and act like Neville Staples them days everyone who was anyone chose to be a Mod, Rocker, skinhead, trendy(disco head) Teddy boy, scooter boy, hippies (they almost ceased to exist in 1980 but il put them on the list) rasta or a rude boy and here I am play in a band your head I write the songs and another wer about to play 3rd gig only and it's for 2 hours that's like 36 of our songs oh these are covers we also do stuck in the middle much bowie madness specials kinks doors Beatles stones chill peppers good luck with the playing I'm a guitarist first but sing and play bass in both bands and a little harmonica when required
Absolutely killed it mate. I seem to struggle a lot with muting and thought of this song as a good example of clean mutes... But it's so far above my level (I'm a beginner on bass :P). However, seeing this being nailed to perfection is inspiring! :D
I have a Geddy Lee USA (which of course is black), but I have to say... I love that red so much on your J that I'm sitting here seriously considering having my Geddy painted. (I know... heresy, but I just love that red. I keep thinking how good the pearly white pick guard would look with red.)
This is amazing!!! Wondering if you’d do a tutorial for Friday Night, Saturday Morning? I’ve only just started bass but you’ve made it easy to understand and that’s my favourite tune!!
Such a great bass line!

Niceness! Wickeed!!!!!
I light of recent circumstances I will be learning this song next. Love the specials, love the tabs! Thanks man!

Love it man, seems like we have almost identical taste haha.
Well played. I might have a go as need to get better playing eighths, the string muting looks a bit fiddly on those too.
A big thank you for the great cover and the free sheet music!
solid track. find the 12 inch version with the solo at the end also if yer feeling fancy :)
Nice work.Everywhere's lookin' like a ghost town though!
Indeed! Hopefully not for much longer though

Bravo! Lovely to hear the nuances of the bass since the original recording sometimes masks the little details.
There is indeed a lot going on!
Very spooky
Great cover,love it,must learn it from you🎶👍🎶
Cheers! It's such fun to play 🎸some of the staccato setions were hard for me to pull off though, take them slow!
Fucking awesome! 👏🏻👏🏻

I actually nearly bought a Geddy Lee signature back in the day but decided to go for my red Fender instead! Not heresy - Geddy would be proud 🎸
That was great my man. Please do Our house by Madness, or Concrete jungle by Marley.
Thanks Henry. I have some Bob Marley on the way in a couple of weeks, and Madness not long afer 😉
Charlies Bukowski!
Amazing ... thanks!
Excellent!
