The awesome Pizza Nermal is male, but he is voiced by a girl because he's supposed to sound like a kid, and this isn't the only case of this too, Bart Simpson I see commonly brought up a lot but since I don't like that character (and for a stupid reason, lol), I'll instead bring up Larry Koopa and Lemmy Koopa, who in NSMBW are voiced by the same woman, and in Mario Kart 8 are voiced by two different women, and somehow despite me being an adult man, I can pull off an accurate Larry Koopa impression. I'll also bring up Kyubey and Kyosuke from Madoka Magica, who are voiced by a women because Kyubey is supposed to sound cute, and Kyosuke is supposed to sound like a teenage boy (yet the ever-so-perfect and best character Nakazawa is voiced by a man, and still sounds like a teenage boy how he should, I even got a reply on Twitter from his English voice actor, that of course, is nothing, however, compared to how I was able to pay Ludwig Von Koopa's official Mario Kart 8 voice actor to voice act Ludwig in my Mario fangame starring Larry Koopa)

He sounds a lot more masculine in the newer series, the Garfield Show, which also has Frank Welker as Garfield, who actually worked with Lorenzo Music in the Real Ghostbusters series (Frank voiced Ray Stanz) Desiree Goyette (Nermal's voice) also sings in a lot of the TV specials with Lou Rawls, who sounds a bit like Garfield/Lorenzo Music as well. If you shut your eyes, it's almost like they're doing a duet together.
