My favorite part of this game is what Glock pointed out, you dont need the resources on your person to craft. That makes this game very enjoyable.
The saddles and other items you craft to ride/use your pal go into your key items. The Firefox is a great party pal. You can craft an item that lets you use it as a flamethrower, which is pretty powerful.
Also I'm pretty sure you killed the merchant with your first attack. It was an aoe attack and it I think it hit him behind you.

Not only are they key items but having 1 means you can use that ability with many of the same type of pal to overcome the cool down. I have 3 foxes at a time and just swap them out after using their flamethrower ability to use it 3 times and by the time the last one is over the first one is just about done cooling down.
This game REALLY grows on you over time. I keep being surprised by how much fun I have playing it.
The combat gets really fun when you're fighting things more powerful than you. Bosses are SO much fun. Going between the different pals, unsummoning them in time to dodge projectiles feels great.
I started finding higher quality blueprints for equipment I'm wearing in dungeons, found a few accessories to pick between. Got upgraded armor and crossbow. Green rarity pelt armor gives +100 hp, about 15 more defense and 100 more durability over the standard pelt armor.
Crossbow has like 200 more attack and 100 more durability.

Hold down the 4 key for a radial menu. The bottom left option should be "stop attacking" which stops your pal from "finishing off" something you're trying to "throw your balls" at.
FYI the parachute uses stamina so be careful that you don't run out mid air. Also you can catch all bosses.

Now that I would love to see :P the parachute I mean :D Still, not a bad theory, teleporting to the top of a mountain and being able to go anywhere. Good theory. I'd of done that.
if you're up high, hit the space bar and remove the chute, then space bar again to bring it back. with practice, you can glide for quite a while.

Yep i just caught her. Its done via a glitch tho. You arent supposed to catch tower bosses. She very good worker, with a whopping 30khp.
The little elephant you passed on the way to Chillet, has a heal ability when it's your pal.
You can capture humans the same way u can capture pals and they work the same
Yeah, but the game shames you for doing so. Didn't stop me from doing it.
They suck, only have handicraft lvl 1 and they can only punch overall low rate of capture so all in all a waste of spheres

Get yourself a Dreama Pal and craft its collar of the same name. It will allow you to have Dreama AND another pal out at the same time to fight.
Can also have several Daedreams and they will all be out at once.

I'm hoping they make a change that either makes Daedream more see through or increase the distance of the tether. I find it constantly getting in my vision.

If it's in your party and if you crafted the necklace you can't. You will have to remove the Pink ghost pal [don't remember the name] from your party.
@Geekabibble you probably already know this, but if your press the right stick (on steamdeck, not sure what it is on other platforms) you can change your pals Ai to avoid damaging enemies. It affects your helper Daedream too :)

You can craft the necklace for Daedream and have it as an additional Pal. So, you can have 2 tames out at the same time.
I made that expecting it's gonna fire shots with me, but it did nothing. Meele or ranged the daedream did nothing
@@atcera8714 must be an odd bug because mine was working as intended. Perhaps it has to be a certain level to use the trinket? I don't know any more details than what I experienced.
Mine will only hit things when they are almost dead. Makes it hard to catch more pals. I leave it in the box a lot lol

If you need drops from a pal (like the flame organs) you still get them when you capture it and you get WAY more XP than if you killed it. If you don’t actually need the pal then you can use the butchering knife and get the same drops AGAIN. That way you can double dip and get twice the drops at the low cost of a pal sphere.
Or you can also sell them to the pal merchant dude. Wherever he is. I wish I knew but I will figure it out eventually 😂.

need to boost carry weight til you get it over 1k. Egg incubator needs to be comfortable. Give it a roof and walls, with a firepit.

I'd honestly love to see you make a whole series with this game
You can tell what jobs a pal will do by looking at it in the palbox and kinda toward the bottom but above the moves and passives you'll see different symbols and the ones that are colored in are the jobs the pal will do. For example, the sheep have the hand icon, meaning they will help with building and crafting while the deer has the log icon, so it'll help with cutting trees.

Hey Glock, if you build a ranch and have a fire pal out working it will randomly drop fire organs. Other pal's drop stuff as well
You can view equipped saddles and other pal items under key items in the tab menu

Some pets can give you great buffs. Check those yellow traits in pet's description: you can get increased work speed, damage, defense, etc. It helps a lot.

When you setup a farm, put in the (Drix?), the similar to eevee fox type because it with “graze” and find palballs, arrows and gold. For free. And I think it’s a bit broken because I haven’t really had to make either or sell much to get the gold.

Glock you can use the command function and tell your pal not to attack, later on you will most certainly need to use this function as your pal will tank the dmg ( for the most part) and you can get a back hit bonus when you throw your pal balls which will vastly increase your taming success chance

Cattiva's repeat swipe attack seems to be pretty good at bringing down the first tower boss' health.

You don't need to make everyone a saddle, the saddle is saved to your person and will work on any pal you have in your party
The Chillette Lola like a long blue ferret which makes me want this game even more
you should try to craft the crossbow as soon as you unlock it, it deals a lot more damage than the fire bow you were using

Oh and i gotta say, I never thought I'd see G9 throwing his balls in a game.
When base level reach 10 you'll unlock the 2nd base location, it would be a good idea to build it somewhere with metal deposite(like 10 metal ore in one spot) as metal is in high demand and you can't auto farm it with pals like you do with wood and stone

I feel bad for you, son.
Since you got me to buy the game for myself, and I played it for a good bit of hours I got some tips for you. First, press ESCAPE and check out the survival guide, specificly the tap ELEMENTS ;) . Second, best way to level new born egg pals, is to just keep them in your party and do anything from crafting to chopping wood to killing stuff and the'll lvl like crazy. Thats it for now because I dont want to spoil to much. :D Love your video's btw :D -Greetings from the Netherlands.
The pals you have in your party gain exp for stuff you craft as well. You don't even have to have them out of their pal spheres. So you can help them level that way as well. Not just fights.
@Glock9 There is a hotkey that brings up a radial menu like Ark to control your Pals, like stop fighting your target instead of returning it to pokeball.
You can put your downed pals out and about in your area. Then pick them up and throw them on the bed and they heal real quick
I think the meds only work on the pals. The little elephants have a healing shower you can use when they're on your team. That and sleeping are the only ways I know, so far, on how to heal.
just brought this game. The whole internet was wild about this game. Some call it scam because of what it's looks like. But so far, this game looks fun as hell. The main reason is you can direct control on pal! I will have fun with it.

This is super fun to watch
Eggs vary in time on my server they tend to start at 3 hours, and I've had a few at 12 hours, and they varied at the level they started at. Also, it looks like their time is effected by the warm/cold conditions it's put in. Ialso have a base that gets "raided", but it's so far up a cliff/mountain that the enemies never make it up to fight, lol.
Get a saddle on your Nightwing, pick your next 4 Pals to join you and fly around farming the sticks and stones, etc... fast leveling especially when you get level 1 from eggs
just watching you play makes me want to pick up the game

You can also get the Pals resources by capturing them, then you can sell the pals you don’t want to a merchant in the small settlement. I only mention it because apparently if you kill too many pals then your pals become upset and stop listening to you lol
the best quality of life implementation in this game is the crafting of stored materials. Chefs kiss - I'm looking at you 7 Days to Die 🥴

If you get a daedream and craft it's necklace you can have 2 mons with you ... And if you add more daedreams you can have a army of mons out
I put a collar on a Daedream and it makes it so you can use 2 pals at a time. little shit gets in my way all the time though.
Tame 10 of each type of Pals for quick leveling. Also, a good way to get plenty of blue taming balls is to put Vixy(2 or 3) in the ranch and let them graze(dig). You'll get coins, arrows and balls passively.
Yup, got over 100 balls from mine over about 4 hrs of playtime.

If you press 4 you can command your pals to not attack
Just so you know Glock, using the glider will use up your stamina quickly
Lifmunk is a good one, can craft guns for it
Unlock the sling for the fox and you can use it like a flame thrower.
