Hello Tammi, thank you for being so thorough, thoughtful and kind with us. Your darling little cabinet, behind your left shoulder-the front door design looks like white painted cast iron. I know mentioned you live in West Texas. I live in Southwest New Mexico we love it here! I have been stitching since I was five years old, and I have loved stitching since the beginning when my mother taught me the technique. Stay well, be safe and most all, enjoy life. 😊🥰❤🍅🧵🪡

Hey Tammi, enjoyed watching today. Excited to see the collaboration y'all are working on. I have never stitched on Hardanger but came across two pieces in my stash of 22 ct white hardanger, probably going to dye it myself and then try it out. I have not found my favorite fabric yet, I usually just stitch on what I have, I usually find fabric at thrift stores and buy it. And I loaded up on Hobby Lobby fabric last year and this year when they marked it down. Thanks for the laughs, you are too funny. I will be attending the Jingle Ball also, my first time. The fabric was so pretty. Can't wait to see what your finishes are on the pieces your received from your friend. 🍵🐔🪡
@@janetrcrossstitch when you stitch on it, you’ll have to let me know what you think about it whether you like it or not. I usually coffee and tea but no Fancy dying over here. Thank you so much for taking time to watch my video and also leave me a comment Janet 🥰

Hi Tammi! Great catch up! The needleworker piece looks great! I will try to join your stitching zoom next Tuesday. I’m attending the jingle ball too. Take care!🌸
I started out stitching on 14 count Aida, and I still use Aida when I like the pattern. I started watching floss tube back then and the ladies I watched were very against Aida. I asked why and the reply was that it was too stiff and I should try linen. Linen was very intimidating and I doubt I would have continued cross stitching if I jumped into linen. Luckily I found other floss tubers that didn’t care what was stitched on and just encouraged the craft. Thanks for your channel, as you are very encouraging.
Those stitched finishes you were gifted are so pretty. I love that they will be finished and enjoyed! About the strawberry, Helen D. East Coast crafter has a good finishing video and she has a free strawberry template and it includes the toppers. I’ll message you the link to the templates.

you know me... I will stitch anything =) but that is a fairly recent change. Until about 2.5 years ago or so (my first stitch con) I only stitched on hardanger/fiddlers cloth and aida
@@debneal5374 Hardanger is very similar to aida, however is 100% cotton and comes without starch, meaning its very easy to stretch and warp. Aida is essentially an easier to use hardanger.
