We use Deep Sea Adventure as a filler game while we’re waiting for others to arrive for the main show event. I think your assessment is spot on 👍 Love your reviews guys! Keep them up!
love deep sea adventure! There's a smaller box version for anyone interested in it. The components are the same size and quality. Only difference I could find was the box size in America was made larger to prevent shoplifting.
If you guys like push-your-luck games, then I have three words for you: "Quacks of Quedlinburg" Top-notch bag-building, thoughtful strategic chooses, and stupid replayability even without the expansion; I have never had more fun playing chicken with my friends and cursing my own hubris.
I adore Deep Sea Adventure. Every game make me laugh so much! Like the round where one player barely dipped her for into the ocean and came right back up with two treasures from the first set, but was the only survivor of the round. Unfortunately, when she inspected her loot, they were both zero! Hahahah! Maybe it's because I bring it to my Meetup I run(ran... Wahhh!) and am always teaching it to new players, but I've played dozens of games of it without feeling any burnout. Great video, great review!!
the game makes me laugh for sure! Super easy to teach to new players, and really excited to play it with familiy over the weekend. I remember seeing this on your top 10 list actually, and was wondering in the back of my head what you'd have to say about our take on DSA :) -Ashton
Really good question, its typically finding the props after :) We got a lot of people we play with that have a ton of props in their houses which definitely helps! Sadly no diving fins or real oxygen tanks in this one
If your box looks a bit more like what you can see in the background around 10:44, then you might have the original Japanese version. It's even smaller than the one in the video and fits in a jacket pocket. That is the reason why the sub is so small! If your components are not made from wood, but from plastic, you most definitely bought a Chinese knock-off.

This is a great game to play before playing another game, an opener for the evening.
Give me a couple more please.
@@THINKTHATIMKOBE Coup, the resistance, and King of Tokyo all work if you're still looking for games :) -Ashton

wow! I've been playing Incan Gold with out removing danger cards. Somehow overlooked that in the rulebook.
Love this game :)
I have friends who are too scared to do anything and friends who are hardcore gamblers and it makes for a great table dynamic.
Do you guys review games based on what props you can find or do you go find props after selecting a game to review xD??

no problem! Glad you enjoyed it! -Ashton
I think I may have bought a counterfeit copy of this game, my components do not look like that...
oh man, well we got our copy from Target for reference if that helps!
