dear god poor thing... it's a shame too cause it sounded hella loud on the windup, if it were fine I bet it would be one of the loudest bolts in the state. somebody outta drop an audio recorder there next week
That sounded like bearing failure or motor failure or sorts to me ?.. that’s crap, people/states and sorts, look after and maintain your sirens/sirens properly!
I grew up in the Midwest.... I have absolutely no idea why... I miss this
those bearings are SHOT
These Paulding bolts biting the dust. That wind down was BAD.
Wonder how long it’s been like this. Good lord this is worse than that Lacon IL 1003
sick boi
Oh. my. goodness. Poor thing.
Damn! That thing is most likely dead. R.I.P Thunderbolt…
The chopper has an overload protect too? Thought it was just the blower
All 3 contactors have thermal overload protection

Yeah she kicked the bucket.😢
This makes me incredibly sad.
At 1:45 it going out midway through would trigger a Malfunction Alert back to the reporting station at the Emergency Management Office
Blower motor or chopper stuck/fried? Ominous humming lol
@@birdehh4503the humming is the blower still running. Chopper seized up.
1:44
There goes that poor chooper
I'm assuming Charloe's 1003's motor is probably 300 rpm away from death by now. Hopefully this and Charloe's 1003 gets fixed soon.
Looks like Mineola's one when it had the red paint.
Similar just no lightning bolt or a black inside and it isn’t as shiny.
No
Is not a 1003💀💀#dumbpple
@@Gamerboybry7386 nobody asked for your opinion, and we didn't ask for your existence either.
@Gamerboybry7386 as long u call them as you wish
Seems like these things giving out is sort of a trend as of recent.
I think a lot of bolts are starting to reach the end of their service lives now.
@@traintraveler5413it’s a combination of that and counties not maintaining older sirens anymore

P.O.V you see foxy sprinting after you irl

Good god 😭
Did you report this to EMA?
Knowing how Charloe is doing, they probably wouldn’t care
God this is just depressing😢😢😭😭😭
A shame to see a former Defiance Oh unit like this 😢
It actually came from van wert
@@warningsirensofmichio9660 I thought the bolt at Dixon came from Van Wert
@@cnnsrailfan6511 no one of the Paulding trustees told me today this one came from either van wert or Seneca
I'm more sad about charloe Ohio's 1003 bc it sounds way worse than this one
Ohio or Oklahoma?
OH is Ohio. OK is Oklahoma.
@@Thunderbolt1000Tfanoh ok
Oh.. no...
Blimey that is REALLY bad and that is clearly shown when the sound from the Siren itself cuts off entirely half way through
charloe 2.0
Different issue than Charloe. This is bad bearings, Charloe has a dying chopper motor.
I think chopper dead
she is dead :(
It’s used to be full red like mineoal ny and I was sounding like a 100T. 8 years lator …………………….
Rip🪦💀😢
