This is my historic footage of hitting bankrupt 4 times. The producers of the show hugged me. I haven't watched wheel of fortune since then and will never...
This is either the fall of 1997 or Spring of 1998. The puzzleboard may have debuted in the Spring of 1997, but in the final months of that season ('96-'97), they were using the previous wheel (lights above it, from the cameras' POV). This particular wheel debuted in the '97-'98 season (with no lights above it).
That was tough. Must be really hard to maintain composure with the more bankrupts you hit. In the end, at least you got a prize in the end, instead of those who walked out of there with no wins and a small "consolation" prize.
March 10, 1998: Round 1: Phrase: I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO IT Round 2: Who Is It?: SHE CREATED PETER RABBIT (Beatrix Potter) Round 3: Before & After: FIRST DAY OF SPRING TO YOUR FEET Round 4: Things: TUBA TRUMPET & TROMBONE Bonus Round: Thing: ROBIN
but now they dont show pat sajaks bankrupts anymore and i hate that that was the fun on when pat or chuck spins the bankrupts prizes lose a turns etc. on wollerys version they do play the sound effect when he hit the bankrupt and do remember one episode where he went bankrupt bankrupt lose a turn and bankrupt and just went nuts...
Could have saved yourself a lot of trouble if you solved that Before & After puzzle before getting your 3rd bankrupt - seemed like you knew what it was.
To quote the Game Grumps...
"IS THIS WHEEL WEIGHTED?!"
Bankrupt has a mind of it's own.
I haven't watched the show since my appearance either...I always get envious of the people who fare better than I did. Glad you had an enjoyable trip!
SAAB 900 SE: over $43,000
Volkswagen Jetta: $19,095
Holland: over $28,000
Mediterranean Cruise: $25,628
$25,000
The clips of this Wheel of Fortune episode aired Tuesday, March 10, 1998.
Some woman only spun bankrupts and lose a turns. At the end, she said, "I didn't come all the way out here just to spin bankrupts and lose a turns!"
Her name is Ansley Davis.

Oh No, Don't Do This, Don't Do This. Dont... (Bankrupt Whistles)
lmao
i love how he keeps clapping even though he's landing on bankrupt
It's good, that he was able to solve the puzzle. I was thinking that after 4 bankrupts, he should've just called it a day, and went home. Lol.

At least he redeemed himself.
Hey a week's vacation to St. Thomas is, as Pat Sajak would say, "not bad for a half-hour of work."
1:34 So far, this music cue was used until February 28, 2006.
Wheel of Misfortune is what this show mostly has been since 2017.
That is some serious bad luck. At least you got the puzzle solved and you knew what you were doing. Hope you had a great trip.
Stop,stop,stop,stop! Ai-yo! I has been anything I could!
Pat said Stop, stop, stop, stop! OH! I yelled, I did everything I could!
It's your fault for spinning the wheel with the same amount of strength every time.
They ought to remove Bankrupt from the wheel.
And THAT would remove the RISK factor of the game!
0:15 Stop!!! (x4)
but now they dont show pat sajaks bankrupts anymore and i hate that that was the fun on when pat or chuck spins the bankrupts prizes lose a turns etc. on wollerys version they do play the sound effect when he hit the bankrupt and do remember one episode where he went bankrupt bankrupt lose a turn and bankrupt and just went nuts...
Oh I thought the Surprise was going to be your Bankrupt again.
don't feel bad about its just a game but at least you got a trip
DON'T SPIN SO HARD!

It's amazing how he sucks spinning the wheel while his wife gets to play Plinko

How was St. Thomas?
wheel of fortune season 15 1997 1998

James fell down and smacked his little head on the pavement.
How was bluebeard's castle?
"it's not their fault"
That's what you think...muahahahaha!
The other James and I went to St. Thomas
I think it's from KIEM-TV
Hehe I like your surprise dance. Chin up my friend!
cool but at least you went to St. Thomas dude
0:56-0:57
ends off as a surprise lol definitely
Could have saved yourself a lot of trouble if you solved that Before & After puzzle before getting your 3rd bankrupt - seemed like you knew what it was.
For $250 (which was the house minimum at the time), not worth it.
@@wschmrdr Smallest number on the wheel is $250 and also the price of a vowel. But the house minimum is $500 at the time.
anymore surprise wedge episodes b/c that was on e of the best WOF moments of the 90s along with the returning champions portion.
Oh,wait a minute! Oh,don’t do this,don’t do this,don’t....
Have a nice trip worth over $4,500.
@vJWv

I didn't know Jimmie Kimmel was on wheel of fortune!

Stop,stop,stop! Ai-yo!

0:55 Oh Shit
At least you got something out of it. I haven't been on the show but it really sucks if you keep getting Bankrupts all the time.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Except that on PYL, four whammies put you out of the game. No such rule applies here, thank goodness.

Even though it wouldn't have mattered ayway since he wouldn't have lost anything, but at;east he got a cool trip out of it!!!
Yep. Haha. But man he's lucky.
Oh,man! Damn!
@hewholikestodraw
If that were the case, I'd pull out a gun and stop when I couldn't get any more bullets.
That would be my LUCK!
At least you won the trip!
Don't worry... Try auditioning again... Then they'll let you back on the show. Hopefully this time you won't fail.
