- Making a beginners basic bowl, from a piece of seasoned maple. Pretty simple and awesome ASMR.
This bowl isn't really that hard for a beginner to make. Even though I love to make nice looking elegant finials and decorations on my turned bowls and vases, I must say that.. sometimes, 'Less is more'. This project here is far more basic as I've left out the small 'lip' on the rim, and made it just plain.
With a few basic gouges, you can make this, without too much of a struggle.
I'll give it a few coats of coldpressed linseedoil + beeswax.. Or some milkpaint!

When my kids get older and I have more free time, I would really like to learn turning. Tak!
We got four! Everything is possible! 😅💪🏻
@@formgjortbyJonasAls haha. I've got three: a three year old and 9 month twins. But there's hope 😀
Thank you.

Hello Allen!
Thank you very much. It’s the first kind of beginners video I’ve made. It’s not really a how to, but I’ll make more soon.
Also live sessions with chat. And when my channel is ready for it, there’ll be Channel Memberships too.
Thanks again! 💪🏻🤘🏻
What settings did you use to grind your tools?
