I bought a carburetor off amazon for my 900 series craftsman tiller. But when i turned fuel on and attempted to start once done it keep over fillin the carb till i notice it drippin out would u be able to inform me on maybe what im doin wrong. Bc i cleaned original 1 put it back on and it keep over fillin carb to. Can u help me out
I have the same (I assume) tiller. It wouldn’t start. I changed the fuel line and carb. When reassembling, I noticed a small crack in the tank. Can I repair it, or do I need a new tank? Thanks for the video.
@@mikelastime thanks. Hopefully a new one will work. The tiller will fire with a shot of starter fluid, but won’t stay running. I’m thinking the air mixing in the tank might be the issue. I found a replacement on Amazon. Will order it and try when it comes in.
Nice tiller for just needing a carb. Have a good week Mike! See ya!

Sounds to me like your float needle is sticking in your carburetor you need to tear it apart and check the float

Plastic tanks are really hard to repair sometimes you can find them on eBay cheaper second hand

Hi Mike, do you have a link to that carb? I have the same model have been struggling to find a direct replacement. Thanks!

just paste in your search if not go to eBay and type in those numbers that would be the carburetor I bought
@@mikelastime thank you!

Consider putting in an in-line shutoff valve and running it out of gas at the end of the year
That will work
