Lagomar | Lanzarote

Tour of one of Lanzarote's best known attractions 'Lagomar' is a restaurant and bar built into the mountainside at Nazeret. There is also a museum as the history behind the property contains a legend that the property belonged to the Egyptian actor Omar Sharif. The Egyptian actor is said to have lost it in a bridge game to Samuel Benady, a Gibraltar-based Sephardic property developer. The current owners are Uruguayan, Beatriz Van Hoff and her ex-husband, German, Dominik Von Boettinger. They bought the property at the end of the eighties and carried out an extensive restoration in the 90’s.
