Is this "church"? And I'm not trying to be snarky, as this is a common defense of something like this. It's a breakout session at a conference, the topic is certainly biblical, but she has no spiritual authority over any of these people. It even feels more like a Ted talk than a sermon. Should we extend 1 Timothy 2 to mean that men can never learn anything from women at all?
@@MarkMattingly Well this is the congregation of Christ's people; they can call it breakout session and that doesn't change the fact that she is teaching the church publicly and not only in the conference context but also on the public setting that UA-cam is. 1 Timothy 2 is speaking about the public setting of the church, so in that context is wrong for them to teach.
@@HearGodsWord And yet all I see in your comment is a personal attack with no bible in it. The verses about women teaching are not gray at all they are actually very clear.
@melquisedecabreu7021 if you find it insulting then maybe you're too sensitive. The fact you confuse a breakout session at a conference with a church service is definitely a you problem and not a me problem.
What an awesome revelation. Only people with true understanding will know what this means for the future of our church and the world.
How do we justify the act of a woman teaching the church of Christ? Regardless of how biblical the teaching is, the action is very unbiblical.

There's always one short sighted individual who feels the need to comment by misusing a verse.
