How to Make Leather Chest Bag Patterns

Hi guys.
This time I would like to show you how to make nice chest bag from my patterns.
I made this bag from vegetable leather approx. 1.5 - 2 mm / 3.5 - 5oz.
I used to dye Fiebing's Professional Chocolate colour.
To make this project you need:
Recommended thickness of leather approx. 1.5 - 2 mm / 3.5 - 5oz.
Tools: Cutter, hole punch 1,2 or 1.5mm, thread and 2 needles
Hardware: 2 Zips approx. 29cm - 3cm wide / 11.5'’- 1.2 inch wide, 1 Buckle 25mm /1'’, adhesive,
5 rivets, optional 1 eyelet.
Pattern available in one size.

Pretty nice job but you need a wide chest to wear this thing 😉. I would recommend to get yourself a stitching pony, it makes the work much easier. Stay save!

Thanks. Please believe me that you don't need wide chest to wear this bag. I'm not very big. Of course that I'm using stitching pony but not durring making video. I have to show how you guys how to stitch this bag and stitching pony is no good idea durring the video.

Does your stitching holes work with stitching chisels or just spaced to work out?That would be great for riding.Nice job.

To make holes on my patterns you have to use simple hole punch 1.2 or 1.5mm and this is the best idea.

Oak Leathercraft appreciate it, I’m just not a fan of hole punched stitches . I like the concept tho , most people’s patterns are set up that way on whatever program they use.I will fumble my way through as always.lol
