This is the "clinch knot". There is also an improved version where the tag is passed through the D loop it makes when it is passed through the loop at the bottom. UNI knot is even simpler to tie. Look up basic fishing knots. You'll see what I mean.

I use this one too, have been using for decades. I was taught 5-7 twists, and then back through the top, but I can tell that the 10 twists provide the same benefit here. Matter of preference, I guess. 5-7 with braid might be OK, but 5 with no top loop pass runs the risk of pulling out.
I’m pretty new to fishing (bass). I used to fish with my Dad, but that’s when I was a teenager. Disclaimer aside, what’s that type of swivel for? I tried a “snap” type, but didn’t care for it. It was harder to get the thing closed than just to tie the line directly to the lure.

thank you. i like the palomar but i sometimes have difficulty with it on the water. what i use most lately is the trilene knot. where you go through the hook eye twice, i go up to four times for heavy applications, then tie an improved clinch on top of that.

This is a different way to tie the clinch knot, not the uni knot. In the uni knot, the tag end ends up laying back against the running line, not against the hook eye as you see in this clinch knot.
@@chuckchucky8781 of course. But there is more than 1 way to tie one. This way just makes it easy. For instances rotating your finger around like this is easy. I have always placed my middle finger in-between the lines and twisted the line around with my index finger and thumb. I like the way in the video more.

저도 이 매듭법을 사용 하는데 똑같지만 더 빠른 방법이 있습니다. 그냥 도레 구멍에 줄 넣고 거기서 바로 두줄 겹쳐진 상태로 잡고 한쪽으로 돌려 꼬이게 하고 줄을 영상 처럼 똑같이 넣습니다. 감성돔 낚시 하는데 3초면 도레에 묶는건 가능 하게 되죠
이 분이 언급한 방법이 더 좋고 증명된 방법이죠. 영상의 방법은 변칙으로 줄의 종류나 굵기 등의 상황에 따라선 약한 매듭입니다.

this knot loosens easily, you have to put the short end also through the back loop and then tighten it, it will never loosen again.

팔자매듭 빠르긴 한데 2~3번 돌리면 잘 풀리고 여러번 돌리면 안당겨지고.
어쩔수없이 유니노트 쓰다가 너무 느려서 다른 매듭 찾으려고 들어왔는데 여기도 팔자 매듭이네요.

임프루브 클린치 매듭 (improved clinch knot)을 본뜬것 같은데, 이와 같이 매듭을 하지 않으면 카본이나 나일론 라인은 무거운 로드가 걸리면 매듭의 끝줄이 빠지게 됩니다. 꼭! 매듭을 해주셔야 합니다.

10번의 횟수로 커버링 하는 듯 한데 약간 불안함. 많은 매듭법을 사용해 본 사람이라면 이 방법은 불안해서 안쓸듯.
가장 큰 단점은 줄의 종류와 가늘기에 따라서 매듭 묶는 사람의 요령에 크게 강도가 영향을 받을듯 . 즉 강도가 매번 달라질 것임.

Half blood knot actually.
Do not use that. It only goes through the swivel or hook eye once. Its very weak. Just use a Palomar or Trilene (clinch)

Не согласен. Есть узел проще и абсолютно надёжный и для лески, и для шнура..., без разницы. Проверено годами. Не вижу смысла так крутить.

It's a neat way of doing it..
Probably faster for a beginner. But once you’ve tied it 1000 + times you can do it in 2-3 seconds with your eyes closed
