Wouldn't Pyro fall under "Innocent by reason of insanity" since they're obviously mentally insane and don't realize what their actions are actually doing?
Awesome video, but one thing I saw that you missed. Medic Saying "When the patient woke up." Meaning that that patient was still alive after his Skeleton was stolen by him. This would fall under Mutalation. Which is defined by law as "Any severe encroachment on a person's physical integrity, which causes permanent harm." I guess you could also say that for Blu Spy's severed head too. I also believe him Ubering Heavy could be counted as assisted Homicide.
Awesome video, I have one contention, however. Technically, Medic's usage of his Medigun wouldn't be considered a chemical weapon, since the Medigun doesn't fit the criteria that the UN designates as a 'weapon'. This would instead be further administration of medicine without a medical license, as the Medic even calls it 'practicing medicine'. For the last charge, 'Chemical Weapons to Kill' (not sure if that's a real charge), you could just easily give him aiding and abetting a criminal with the highest possible sentence, since in the eyes of the law, while Medic himself isn't killing anyone, he is actively helping Heavy commit mass murder, which on that note would be its own charge for Heavy. You could even take some creative liberty and double the sentence for aiding and abetting given that Heavy would not have been able to commit this crime without the Medic's help. Again, apart from that, awesome video.
@@Manhackarcadeisfun I thought about assisted homicide, but objectively Heavy isn't committing homicide, he's committing mass murder, a separate crime. You could make up a charge of assisted mass murder and give him the death penalty thusly
Ik it 1 yr old video but engi sentry counts as not registered/unlawful weapon use. About medic he has hearts that he got either killing animal either buying on black market cause without medical licenese noone would give him that, that animal abuse/animal cruelty or Unlawful Commercialization of protected animal.
You could also count the 200ish other kills on the counter next to engineer. For medic I think you could put some sort of health violation because of Archimedes popping out of heavy's chest and getting trapped in scouts. I get you're not a lawyer I just noticed those and thought to point them out.
Medic may not have a licence , but heavy doesnt seem too be struggling or screaming (so he isnt in pain prb), and in comics is shown to like the doctor , so he probably gave consent , and if i gave consent to my best friend to idk....perform surgerys on me , he would have done it legally , unless i later say bc of him i have Problems like for example walking (or if i die during or because of the surgery)
For pyro i think he wouldn't get anything because he was not realising what he was doing (by the pyrovision) so it could count as schizophrenia or anything soooo...
I feel like since their job involves being in a war between RED and BLU, that any regular kills between each other's teams should not count as murder. Unless specifics like the BLU soldier killing his own team mate in Meet the Spy, or Soldier committing war crimes due to holding a head collection. Pyro would have a footnote that all charges would be lowered if plead insanity.
I'm pretty sure Pyro killed Heavy with that axe strike, because at the end of the trailer, you can see a charred corpse with the axe still stuck in it's head as Pyro walks off.
"Pyro shouldn't be charged due to his insanity" In the comics Pyro after being fired from the mercs, he doesn't go on a rampage or start killing everything on sight and also in Expiration Date he don't kill all of them So Pyro IS aware of what he does and he love it, so yeah he isn't insane at all .
That's what the 'using chemical weapons to kill' meant. I deciden to only give it to him once beacuse heavy was the one actually doing the killing. I may make an updated version beacuse of all of the comments i've got like theese.
@@StanLeFox, he also turned some burglar or thief that tried to rob him into a talking pumpkin. In comics, that is. And that's just from the top of my head.
@@StanLeFox , what about that Japanese Science Team that was responsible for human experimentation and such? I believe it was called Unit 731. Can you look it up? Maybe it's not a regular crime, but a war crime which is why you weren't able to find info about it? Can you use it as an example to calculate the approximate jail time or death sentence medic would get?
Technically, the classes are all contract killers working for RED/BLU, fighting against contract killers working for BLU/RED, in what is referred to as the gravel wars. Or in other words, most cases of "murder" should be looked at in regards to their position as hired guns for a war, not as traditional murders. You also missed the Engineer building and deploying weaponry that can target and fire at others automatically. Pyro might be liable for being labelled as criminally insane? He is delusional to the extreme that she legitimately does not recognise what they're doing as killing and burning, but it is also still a contract killer so the Pyro must be aware of at least some kills. While in-game the Medigun (and variants) are listed as weapons, functionally they're not - they're not used as such and their primary function is to heal. Thereby it shouldn't be listed as chemical weapons - at worst it should be more medical negligence. Related to the first point, any kills that are deemed criminal in nature that the Medic was healing for would be considered liable towards him as well, as he was aiding and abetting those crimes via the ubercharge and healing. Lastly, it'd be appreciated if you didn't use AI voices while its status is such a hot button issue.
Sorry for all the mistakes man, this was just for fun and I almost instanly got loads of comments just like yours. most of these were fixed in part 2 & 3, however I realised pretty quickly that since their mercenaries and they woldnt get charged for 1st degree murder ect. but like I said, this video is just for fun! also with the AI voice thing, it was just becuse I don't feel comfortable using my voice on this platform, and if you were to watch my latest video you would find that I'm just using basic TTS now. But thanks for all the constructive criticism!
the sentries are inanimate until someone walks into its range , it it would technically be a booby trap, I tried looking up how many years you’d get for murdering someone with a booby trap, but I couldn’t find anything.
same, that happened a lot for me, that's why the blue spy in medic's fridge was classed as kidnapping, beacude i couldnt find the charge for experimenting on humans against their will.
pyro should go to an asylum and not prison [note: it was never said that pyro is a person who just sees things thgough glasses. valve probably meant that the person is insane. Also, pyrovision goggles do'nt confirm anything, it's just an in game item so taht anyone could explore this concept]
Doesn’t pyro fall under the 2nd degree murder or innocence because of schizophrenia Because pyro doesn’t know that he’s killing people, he think that he is giving a candy to a kid while he actually brutally murders a man with an fire axe
