- This S&S Screamin' Swing opened in 2010 and stands 50 feet (15m) tall with a maximum arc of 122°, but what really sets it apart from any other is its perch atop a cliff that sends riders soaring nearly 1300 feet (396m) above the Colorado River.
Check out the on-ride videos we posted to see what it's like to be in the front and back seat of this thrilling ride: • Giant Canyon Swing fro... & • Giant Canyon Swing bac...

Best ride ever! Our 7 year old rode it three times. My stomach still hurts thinking about it!
I want to try this but I know I'm gonna chicken out last minute 😂
It’s not bad at all I was rethinking it at first but when I got on it, It was something I’m happy I did.
Looks fun
It’s sooo bad
@@madalainevalladares1889 you been on it?
@@iCupcakeMelaniex3Yes I went last month in June for a vacation it was so bad I thought I was going to die but it depends
My family visited Glenwood when I was about 13 and this was my absolute favorite ride there.
man i love these rides. its so easy to get a huge gap with the restraint and just float.
I would have to be absolutely DRUNK to go on that thing!!!! 😬
Right
No Thanks.😂That looks absolutely terrifying
Fr
It is. Went on it with two brave random children 🤣
What make this scary is the arm doesn’t completely wrap over you. There is a gap on one side and nothing to hold onto besides the arm. You feel like if it suddenly unlocked there is no holding onto anything and that’s it. You fall a thousand feet down a cliff to your death. I did with my son and we both were so scarred we didn’t even scream or holler.
👻Oh no! 🕸🎃🕸 too scary for me! 👻
I love the use emoji and cute speaking very to my liking !!! 💗💗💗😊💖👌🏾
One of the craziest rides I’ve ever been on. Heard a scary squeak in the machine and it was tested numerous times afterwards. It’s good to see at least they make sure it is safe because falling from it would be horrible.
I was there years ago and rode that thing 3x! It was great!
You wanna know the trick to ride extreme rides?
*Just close your eyes and never open them until the Ride IS FREAKING OVER*
That's exactly what I did yesterday! LMAO!
I was thinking this too if I ever ride it lol.
I can still feel it in my stomach though 😭
Such a great swing
Looks scary 😱😱
I almost died on this ride lol it made a scary noise and the guy had to keep retesting the ride.. fun times
This video perspective is just all sorts of wrong. Half shots and weird angles.
Looks like fun
Wow!
WOWZA! 😳😳😳
I love this ride I want to try it
I went on this…. Never again
I’ve done this highly recommended
What could possibly go wrong..........
Just rhode this it is terrifying!!!
Amazing 🤩 have to check it out I been here💫😍😊🤩🤯
That ride is the scariest
ive done this its terrifying
I went on it today and it’s only scary when you swing down and look down at the very top
We rode that there was no line at all of the day so my fam basically did that and alpine all day
I remember going on this and seeing my mom pass out next to me lol 😆
Its safe, fun and affordable so what do we need? MORE DIVERSITY to spice things up. KNow wha im saying
I would have passed out!
Mini-Skyhawk
I did this. And now I’m asking myself why after watching it
Here. What if something went wrong.
Omaigot
I went on that
no ride , very sad ...
Barefoot?
Why the annoying hissing sound though?
That sound is the air compressors that power the swing.
Its nothing if someone has done skydiving already .
🚶🏃🏃🏃🏃🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
I did this they make u sign a waiver saying if you die you can sue them
I have been on it it’s not scary
Oh look, another ride I will never do because I'm absolutely terrified of heights!
Me too nah I cant do it this looks terrifying
I literally hate heights and had never been on a ride before the coaster and this swing and it was so scary but I tried it because I didn’t pay $61 for nothing. Hated it but knowing that I survived is what makes me want to go on more rides now.
Hell noooo i would not
Me either nah
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
😳😳😳😳😳
Lol I live in Denver. Not gonna drive 2h for a 2m experience
Tanner Arro It’s an entire amusement park on top of the mountain in Glenwood Springs. Looks like it would be totally worth it!!
I’ve been there and I CAME FROM NEW YORK. It was awesome, and there are also a ton of other rides.
It’s not the only ride there. Do some research, ya lazy dingleberry.
Oh man, you mean they didn't consider where you lived before they built an entire town and amusement park? The nerve.
@@ang212 🤣 how dare they!
Hell no
