Thanks wesleycardinal8869, I'm in the privileged position of being able to still chat to the original owner's son and he's been amazing at helping me find out about the car, little things that he thought were not important have allowed me to document the journey the 850 has been on from before it was even built up to the present day.. Sadly for some strange reason I can't post a link to the website as Google looks upon it as spamming but if you type in 850glt.wordpress. com (without the spacing) you will be able to read all about it.
@@matthewwiddows6319 Yes it has been garaged most of its life, the only time it wasn't was when the chap who I bought it from had it for 10 months and it was kept outside. You can read all about it and its comprehensive history on this website...850glt.wordpress.com Thanks and enjoy
Must be the sun that affects the plastics, as they look new as opposed to not worn. Have just added a p reg 855 2.5 10v gle to my fleet of 850s. Has a few scuffs but after those it will be close to yours. Its silver, but 426 silver not that smoked silver. 106k on mine, but getting converted to t5 from donor car.

Bravo for Best Made Car in World, my 95 wagon have 380000 M, driving ever day loco I long distance, like a lot And looking to buy one good, under 100000 M, thanks,
@850glt she as scubbed up better than we'll. Can't believe how she looks. Got to spend some money on mine to get her right. Have watched your videos. Your viva ha. I had one to. Was my first car and paid £20 for it ha ha.
Wasn't a tin can , it was a piece of metal I used to prop up the phone to get the exhaust clip at the beginning and when I picked the phone up I kicked the metal out of the way 🤣
Nostalgia, my dad had this car when I was kid.
What a gorgeous contraption.
thanks @swecol1992 Nostalgia is exactly what the entire classic car scene is all about. Glad you enjoyed the clip
850 glt wagon is still one of my favorite cars.
I was about to say it looks like new, but a car that's been cared for by the same owner for 22 years is better than new, it now has a soul!

Thank you Peedarb, she's going out for a drive today and I'm looking forward to it.
Ah I just put two and two together, you're Jay! What a beautiful car buddy.
Sharp ride. You know the best part of the car? No stupid computer screen.
Thank you, it still has an engine management system but it's basic compared to what's produced today
