I believe that's what he has right there. Not sure entirely what a "coil tap" is, but I do know that has a split coil switch. "from a Les Paul to a Strat in a click" as Heavymetalcat describe it.
@@dominiccampbell7227 ohhhhh, coil tap is basically pulling up or down on either your tone knob or your volume knob, switches it from humbucker to single coil. Rob Scallon’s signature guitar has it

I've always been in love with this sound. It's hypnotizing to me, it's one of the things that makes me desperately want an Axe-FX. Could we hear you play the Master of Puppets Interlude next time you do a clean tone video? It's my favorite Metallica piece to test a clean tone and see if the high end is buzzy instead of clear.
@@gallettiguitartones I guess I should have said "honky". Sometimes I have to fiddle with my amp's Channel 1 settings since it's a modeler, and the clean tones can get as ugly as they can get pretty. It seems like I'm always tweaking it, and it can get really abrasive in the high end but I can't roll the treble off too much or else it loses it's clarity. It's a big dilemma, but I put up with it by just not picking too hard.
@@scv-raw2071 I wouldn't touch Bias with a barge pole. I haven't heard anything good about it when it's compared to Axe FX and the Helix, and I'd rather get my money's worth as opposed to "just another" sim. On the exact opposite end of the spectrum I've read and heard nothing but amazing things about the Axe-FX, and Nic's videos only serve as more evidence as to why I should save for an Axe-FX instead. Also, uh.. As a general rule of thumb, if it's directly related to your rig and it costs less than $100, you're probably looking at a pretty lackluster product.

now, I'm yet to watch the video but if you're gonna brag about diling in the cleanest tone ever then you'll better be bringing some good shit to the table cause let me tell you I've seen my fair share and that's gonna be hard to beat
take away a few highs, crank up a bit the lows and add a little echo and that's literally the tone I've been looking after my whole 6 years of playing... i can't say anything you stuck to your word
Oh man, what a nice and precious sound.
Sounds like an acoustic! 🔥🔥
Meh, sounds more like a David Gilmour tone to me.
Almost piezo sounding, beautiful.

I did a cover of that song back in 2021. It wasn’t the best now that you say that I should re-do it some day 🤘
I like how even though you have the neck pickup selected it still has some bite.
That cover to Nothing Else Matters is the best cover I've heard by far
Greatest tones as always!
That’s not clean, that’s ✨pristine✨
You are crazy good at creating tones dude! What’s your top 3 favourite Metallica songs?
Holy shiiiiiitttt I feel so relaxed! I love it
I got a Mr, Clean ad before this, yeah that's clean.
PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR PRESETS FOR THE AMP I LOVE THIS SOOO MUCH
Crystal clear 👍🏼
that's how my unplugged guitar sounds to me when jamming late at night in complete silence
The smell of new strings in the air))
Mark Holocomb killed it with these pickups-
Great sound
Split coil. Nice!
Bro gave me blue balls at the end lol
amazing sound
That's funny but i always hit like button without even listenining the video 🤣. Every time i'm asure thats gonna be lit 🥰

Oooo that was damn good man
Gives me Alice in Chains vibes "Jar of flies"
Dude I'm such a dummy. I was like mannnnn..idk. I've heard someone do it cleaner. (Ish). It was you dude...😂😂😂 playing the white explorer.
If you really want a stratty tone, get a guitar that can do coil taps, jsyk

You can get bias fx 2 and an irig 2 for less than 100 dollars rn
Thanks a lot ! What do you mean with the high end buzzy btw ?

Lo mejor, el final
is there somewhere you talk about your gear ? ^^ sound is amazing ! always !
It sounds clean but, metallic. No pun.
Nah, a Telecaster or a 12-string trough a Roland Jazz Chorus with Celestion alnico blue speakers is the GOAT
I hear a little acoustic simulation.. I do this for my black album style cleans. Would sound sweet with a 12 string
That's that sound your always trying to get right before you turn your amp off and remember you don't play guitar
HOW TF CAN I FIND THAT TABS I SEARCHED FOR SO LONG PLS TELL ME (the start solo)
Can you please give us te toe settings? the pedals and the sttings of the pedal? i'm begging you. I really need that sound. PLEASE

What pick ups are those? I see you have the neck engaged.
the cleanest sound you can get out of a guitar is the DI
0:35 Is that Kings X Pleiades?
Signal chain?
I think you are using an accoustic simulator?
Need tabs ♨️
You play that like Kirk, mashing on the bass note.
What pickups are in that axe?
Thats like half acoustic and half clean
Do you have a tablature?
Tabs plis 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hey, what is the name of the riff that starts at 0:35 ?
It's the intro of Nothing Else Matters that Kirk did live some years ago

Clean? This isn't clean at all. The chorus is more than obvious.
