Couple of tips on being aired down, after running for a bit touch your sidewalls, especially if your doing higher speed stuff. If they are hot you need a bit more air. On a trail with more rock crawling air down a lil more try 12psi on your set up and you will be amazed the traction gained from 15psi. In my experience the traction gained has out weighed any clearance lost.
Thanks for the tips! We went rock crawling on Saturday and I accidentally aired down to 8psi...tried it out just to experiment...was surprise on how well it worked 🤣
2000 years later. Crack me up.
Highly considering a snorkel now... need more traction. Great tip guys!!
Got it snorkel for traction
Good video 👍
The snorkel is key 🔑 🦕
"It's bullet proof....................................the switch is broken" lol Helpful video, thanks.
Yup 🤣
Just picked up the Viair 400P 🤘🏼...wooo Dirtnation rules !🤣
I run those Thunderer trac grip tires. Amazingly good cheap MT's.
I rarely air down. Just cause I’m lazy, don’t have patience, and have never gotten stuck.
MrCalifornia1234 I didn’t airdown either for the first year I was off-roading...now I do it out of habit...and for comfort because we usually have a full truck
Nice taco! I’m in a power wagon on 12.5x37s, Nitto TerraGrappler G2. I want to get into off-roading in/around the Tucson area. On the roads, I’m at the recommended 50psi. What would you recommend I air down to if I’m just on dirt trails in the desert? Is there a “rule of thumb” or some sort of quick formula to follow? Thanks!
Hey, maybe you could show how much ground clearance you lose for every 5 or 10psi you let out until you hit 15psi? Love the videos, keep the good work!
Randall Compton not a bad idea...I’ll keep that in mind for another video if I can fit it in...thanks for the feedback
Aired down tires are just fancy burgers
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
damn … I need a snorkel on ZR2... the suspension and HP suck... :(
Would you air down P rated SL tires like the Falken Wildpeaks?
I’m wondering the same thing
Can you air down a 20 inch rims and 35 tires? Up to what psi is good?? 20x10. We are going to cleghorn straight fire road only thanks in advance
Go down to like 25...cant go too low with 20s because you have alot less sidewalll
Thanks alot 👌👌👌 ill go 17"s after my tire wear off
What would you recommend dropping to with 35s on 22s?
On 22s probably no less than 20-25
Same exact thing for bike tires
👌🏻
What psi do you use on a stock tires?
15-20
Need more Snorkel!!?
More Snorkel is always the answer
Can you air down your snorkel for more horsepower?
