How can a PC gamer be proud to play Rainbow Six? There are countless things you can do on a PC, but you already said Rainbow Six, 4 times and I'm only 5 minutes in..
As for the Steam Deck, I do like how the analog sticks are aligned; I've always found that way more comfortable than unaligned sticks, since I grew up with PlayStation's DualShocks, which also had aligned sticks. The Wii U also had them, as does 8bitdo's controllers. I don't like the order of the lettered buttons (YBAX), since it's backwards to what I'm used to...that's unfortunate.
As someone who grew up on Xbox, unaligned sticks can only work with a controller that's as light as the Xbox controllers are. The added weight of the Switch for example makes its right thumbstick awkward to use in handheld mode.

I would personally wait on the steam deck valve hasn't had the best of luck with hardware and doesn't really support them for long, the steam machine was flop and was quickly abandoned only 3 year after launch, steam link had strong pre-orders and was still a flop as sales nose dived. And support was for the most part abandoned as well not receiving an update since late 2019. Valve index was a moderate success but was a niche product that was low volume and high profit margins. And wasn't a break out success until Half Life Alyx. See the thing here the Nintendo switch doesn't sell well because of its hardware, it sells well because people want to play the Nintendo games so they tolerate the pitiful hardware. And valve hasn't come out with a traditional multiplayer game in 9 years and a single player game in 10 years if they want to succeed they will need software to sell the hardware IE first party exclusives.
I mean, the value proposition of the Deck relative to the price is shockingly small. Most people will just play their games on a laptop or rig, if not a console.

I'm buying a steam deck to finish more of my games that I haven't touched yet on my library. I'm too busy with work these days.
_Man's got a Laptop with a trackpad in a backpack that made his back hurt_
I put in my reservation for the 512 gb model and I can't wait to get it.
I got the 256 gb
I got the 64 gb
I got the 0 gb
I was about to buy a gaming laptop (I can afford it) but when the Deck was announced, I'm getting it instead. I want to be able to play my PC games on the couch, in bed, or on vacation without having to buy it for the Switch (if the full version of said game is even available on the Switch)
At least the Steam Deck will be able to run new games at more than 10fps unlike the Switch…
Lol
10fps is ultra cinematic.
Since 30fps is more cinematic, 10fps is like imax level cinematic. 😂
That sounds hyperbolic. But ok.
@@killertruth186 watch vids talking about apex on switch
@@flow185 Aren't those few games are the exception but not the rule? That's like saying Ark Survival would be 20fps on the 8th gen consoles but barely hitting 70-90fps on a 1080ti gaming PC?
Bruh, open that guys channel and look at the content he makes, his whole career is to provoke negative feedback.
I had a reservation for a Steam Deck
Then I bought a laptop... And well, I don't need a Steam Deck anymore x:
Also, Steam Deck has a Gyroscope for aiming, which is arguably the best method of aiming. It's precise and it doesn't have friction on a table. I love Gyro-aiming, and on a handheld with a screen, I imagine it would be very accurate.
Edit: And his point about Gaming laptops being heavy... my 17 inch Asus ROG Strix weighs in around 2kg. That is nothing. Ryzen 5800H and RTX 3060 Laptop... WAY more power than both Steam Deck and Switch, but sacrifices the form factor of both... But I wanted it for power.
The Steam controller was great for gyro aiming whenever I went back to my Xbox One aiming felt lackluster and just unenjoyable.
I am probably missing details, but if you wanted raw power, you needed to build a desktop PC
@@mikeock4039 I do have a desktop. Waiting on the GPU shortage to not be so bad to upgrade my GPU. Why I bought a laptop was for portability. And it happens I got an amazing deal on the laptop.
About the gyro aiming isn't that uncomfortable i mean it seems cool at a glance but also really uncomfortable
@@killertigergaming6762 it takes a little to get used to but I can't play games on controller without it.

I played it really casually tho :)
You can expect Griffin to say things like that. He is elitist after all.
as a souls fans i have to said CUPHEAD is a freaking more stressing than any souls game that i have ever played seriously everything that hit you means PREPARED TO GET F**KED everytime in souls game you still have some timing in here well its like playing GHOST AND GOBLINS if you know that game, its more then just a flow combat and strategic attack is a fucking hand reflection but maybe because i haven't fully mastered the game or what idk but for real at this time for me this game is way harder then souls game (especially DS2 which by mean known to be the hardest souls game in trilogy)

To be able to play my Steam Games in a handheld device is pretty awesome. I won't have to lug around my five pound gaming labtop anymore.

Was thinking damn I get it from sitting weird for hours not from a fucking backpack🤣🤣
What blows my mind on this is why is it being compared to the switch rather than the Aya neo/gpd 3
As a person who played r6 2 years ago on Xbox when it was still good, you can actually play rainbow six siege with a controller.
R6 has always been with a controller ever since it came out lol
The only thing I get about this is that the hud in games is gonna be tiny in some games and could be difficult to see on the steam deck. That's about it.
This Steam deck is more interesting than the Nintendo Switch
Fax
I don't buy interesting things, nor do most people. They buy things that have a good value proposition.
Eh both are good
I doubt it. Apparently the only game you can play on the SD is r6 seige.

@@TheKingOfAllHorror poor bait
around 2 thousand switch games tested for emulators, and almost half are completely unplayable
Easily emulated on PC via emulators: NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, Game&Watch, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance
Emulated to some degree on PC via Emulators:
Wii U, Switch, DS, 3DS
That is multiple generations of emulated Nintendo platforms(1980-present) on PC

I have terminal brain damage to to this guys logic
I mean, the value proposition of the Deck relative to the price is shockingly small. Most people will just play their games on a laptop or rig, if not a console.
I think that the steam deck appeal is mostly for people who don't own a gaming pc.
Not really laptops and pcs are far more expensive and aren't as portable and has better performance then any price equivalents
One thing I'd say about the steam deck is they should ditch the entry level 64GB model that's useless for most people who want one
Lies $400 for the steam deck and 512gb for $60 to replace the 64gb it’s worth it
