Got a puppy yesterday and all he's done on tonights Northernlion session is climb up my leg, nap next to the speakers, wakes up, explores, them boom back to napping right next to Norterlions voice. Ain't even where his bed is. Northernlion, you even entertain other species.
Wow, yet another thing I never knew you could do in this game. Light up a torch that's been put out. It's crazy how you continue to discover new things even after playing it for so long. So many great little touches. Spelunky will surely go down as one of my favorites ever just because of how it makes so many of the runs so memorable. Everyone who's played it has a ridiculous, unique story to tell of how they died, or how they barely made it.
Once a yeti threw me into a yeti into another yeti, so on and so forth, until I finally got to the exit. exit. Only took one heart since all I hit was the floor. And another time, I died with my Kapala having one blood drop left for a heart. I died, then collected my own blood, reviving myself. You know how the music stops playing after death? That happened. I was playing as a corpse, but was fine on the next level.

I believe it only stuns enemies for a short period and kills bats. Really, the main good thing about it is that it can stun the ghost, making diamond collection quite a bit safer.
This version of spelunky is available only on the xbox live marketplace. There is also an older free version for PC which you can download from the spleunkyworld website.
Moar Spelunky :) Once again. 2 damsels = kapala 4 damsels = 12 health! (trigger post-revival for 16 health!) put monty in the exit on the head level and you get him after reviving! buy ALL the early bombs, they can always repay via gems! If you can get 40+ bombs pre-black market (and pitchers mitt?) you can EASILY afford to murder the shopkeepers from the black market on (and sacrifice them, dead shopkeeper = living damsel value!) It may be glitch but once I was able to freeze a shopkeeper, steal all of his stuff, and when he unfroze he wasn't angry. Might be worth a try to see if it works for you too.
And 4 damsels = 8 health. Also, I think shopkeepers and damsels are worth the same to Kali, and living is worth more than dead. Also, I think yetis cavemen and boomerang guys are all worth like 1/2 of a damsel living or 1/4 dead... not sure the exact value.
He is playing smart that is why he get so far in his videos. I know you are mad that you can not get past the jungle but keep trying you will get there.
Is it just me or are graphics a bit strange on this new capture device of Northernlions? The colours seem somewhat less vibrant, but it has a cool kind of effect to it as well.
In another episode (Can't really remember which ep) he mentioned how the male damsel looked like PewDiePie. He also mentioned how he has no feelings either way with the guy but respects him as a fellow UA-camr. Just saying that so we don't start a flame war over it.
Ive been watching a few of NLs serieses, like TBoI and SMB, just found this and it looks awesome :D anyone know where i can get it? I notice its not available on steam..? Ta bros :3
