Yeah, this guy was the best spanish striker on last 15 years and Maybe he'd be the biggest masterpiece on South Africas World cup that Spain won after it had Beated Germany the last Eurocup
Shame that US Football isn't as popular in the US as in Europe. Would be entertaining to see more quality players from the US amongst La copa del rey, bundesliga, premiere league. Only way the US football teams have come to my attention is through World cup representation and former top players going to the US to promote the sport. Awesome videos!
+Terrycrewsyo We agree. Our aim to cultivate the US supporters and show the world we love the beautiful game. That starts domestically, but we also intead to bridge the gap in awareness of the leagues you mentioned above. Thank you for the support!
+David Moreno A common perception. Though not accurate on the whole. MLS is actually younger on average (25.8) than Liga MX (27). The average EPL age is 26.8 for comparison sake. Aside from all that, we love that David Villa is playing in our league. His presence is so good for the team and for the league as a whole.
My point is big stars like Thierry Henry and David villa go to the MLS once their careers are almost done . Why ? Because the competition is not a fierce as it is in their home country. This give them the opportunity to compete at a much older age even if the average age in MLS is 25.8. This is why I made my statement. The MLS is the last step for big European players.
+David Moreno The history of European football holds too much weight for an upstart league to surpass in appeal. So, that much is correct in your statement, but Thierry Henry was in his prime when MLS as a league existed for just over a decade. David Villa had just signed with Valencia. It would've made little sense for them to forgo an already established league, the glory of the Champions league, and take a massive pay cut to play in front of crowds of fifteen thousand in the states. Having said that, Sebastian Giovinco is in his prime and he is here. Now. Playing beautiful football. In ten years? Who knows, but for now we are proud of our league, how much we have grown, and are looking forward to a bright future.
