How you gon try to coax me into a cancellation after the music's already cemented inside of my memory bank? I don't really know Christopher Brown music all like that, but I can definitely speak on R. Kelly. I have a short history w/ his music. I know the LP he did w/ Public Announcement, _12 Play_ and his 1995 s/t LP. I clocked out of purchasing his music after _You Remind Me of Something._ I've gone on record plenty of times expressing my disgust w/ media manipulation. See, here's how slick they are. When R. Kelly was making his label hundreds of millions of dollars, he was able to do whatever he wanted. Soon as he started to fall off and his impactful years were behind him, that's when the system turned on him. "We're no longer making money off of him. He's old. Let's destroy his legacy." All of his wrongdoings from recent years are no different from the '90s. We're talking decades of degeneracy just swept under the rug. Of course the media tried to make excuses like "We didn't have social media back then." We sure did have MTV News (where his wrongdoings were featured and nonchalantly swept under the rug). We also had printed articles. I'm kind of a stickler for timing. Nah that I think about it, after each wrongdoing, he was praised w/ something later on. Soon as he fell off, all hell broke loose. Look, the practical reality is that I've been listening to _Bump N' Grind (Old School Mix)_ for decades so how am I just gon let that go? Knock it off. Like folks are gon listen to the music that they grew up on w/ fond memories and that's that.
