Erik - Love the channel and your delivery. Love the channel and your delivery. I have loved watches and Rolex (even though frustrating to deal with) my entire life. Could you tell me how to get a job with WOS are any other brand? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. BTW - love your content, you seem like your a super cool guy.
@@fbernacke Thanks for the kind words.
Its not easy to break into. If you have any retail sales experience it will help along with communicating that you have great watch knowledge and would love a position. Bottom line is that you probably know more than most watch sales people as they really dont eat, breath and sleep watches like many of us. In both instances of being interviewed I walked into the store I liked and asked for the manager and handed them a resume.
Good luck as a big disappointment for me as it really is RETAIL and I wasn't impressed.
@@erikkinginnyc I appreciate you getting back to me, Erik. Keep up on the great content.
Rolex... the biggest Scam in the world... meh no!
@@Zonediver Yes, they are - masters of the scam. Thanks for watching.
I don’t agree - why are you calling them a scam?
The watches hold value through their strategy of demand outstripping supply.
A scam is something like bitcoin where there is nothing tangible in place to talk about.. people will just pay what they think it’s worth.
Wow. Ridiculous they would ask that of you and I'm glad you didn't listen to that request.
@@doreen.a Thanks for that and of course, thanks for watching!
When it comes to fine imitation watches, MaMaCoo delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Rolex; the best $1.500 dollar watch you can buy for $14.000 dollars…!!!!😒
Do you think it only costs $400 to manufacture a Rolex? If so, you are CORRECT!
Certainly interesting but not suprising, right? 😊. Thanks for sharing.
@@markmendoza3121 Yup, you're right! Thanks for watching.
The muppet boiler room watch market is dead 😂.
I have bought a couple of Tag Heuer's from an AD in Amsterdam who also sells Rolex in a different boutique. I was curious how the Rolex system worked. They told the familiar story of being allocated a low number watches per week/month, much lower than their demand is. They basically gave up on waitlisting the more desirable models, since those had waitlists of up to 8 years. If you want an Air King or their gold models, you have a chance. Otherwise it's a no-go.
@@baron_von_noob3117 Yeah, the way it is. Thanks for watching.
Grand Seiko is better and available.
@@michaelat5409 Happen to love GS and yes, a far superior watch in every way! Thanks for watching.
GS bracelets are rubbish! If they sort that out then yes I’d buy one
@@thomasspurway5900 Always have been crap - the only thing they need to fix. Thanks for watching.
Grand Seiko is a watch for a cuck!
Not so Grand, Shitters!
Watches of Switzerland: went into one of their ADs to put myself on a waitlist for a Rolex OP 36mm, gave my details… 5 months later I checked back in only to find they hadn’t added me to the list.
@@cdeaker Sounds like most. They just choke supply.....Thanks for watching.
Do you think Rolex are literally winding down their AD Network?
Reducing sales through them, to make a transition to another business model?
Or...
Do you think Rolex are throttling supply to clear out the pre-owned inventory and ride any post-pandemic surge.
When these new Rolex factories start production... do you think it'll go to online sales?
With Rolex buying Bucherer, I believe they will get rid of their ads and go direct to consumer. Now that they own Bucherer who knows how to open retail stores, I think they will be opening more up. I believe they will also start selling online. Especially with the younger generations that are used to buying everything online. Now you can order a car directly to your house without test driving it. That's what they are doing and used to.
@@JustMeTalking Rolex bought Tourneau/Bucherer so no doubt they will give preferential treatment to their stores. Getting crazier and crazier! Thanks for watching.
This information makes me like Rolex and their AD network even less. I own an SD 43 and have no interest in adding another Rolex to my collection. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
@@tizombie Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching and commenting.
MaMaCoo watch are the best, I say this from experience.
@@MaryDoherty-q6b Dont think the best but damn good. Thanks for watching.
I think most know Rolex is run by a holes, top to bottom. BTW anyone can walk into a AD and get a new watch within days, provided one is a celeb, famous jock, or drug dealer, Rolex’ main cliental.
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of MaMaCoo . Their watches are of exceptional quality.
