Epic Video Bro!! Some questions: Fastace ALX13RC2? You recon the battery dimensions are similar to Talaria MX4? As in could potentially run this in MX$ with controller? Rear shock length - same as Ron Talaria?
Thanks! I’m not sure about the battery dimensions but I’ll try and get a measurement soon. Same answer on the shock. Based on the adjustment caps , these appear to be the alx13RC 2.0. The 1.0 had the red caps and looked slightly different than these.
Range test video will be out on Monday, already in the queue. As far as mod goes, I don’t see myself upgrading anything on the power side (battery, motor, controller), anytime soon but anytime I do something new to the bike I’ll post about it. My IG is @m.w.reese but I’m not very active there . Thanks for watching!
Great video! 🙌 I bought the Rerode R1 from Alibaba 2 weeks ago, bike will arrive early April. Paid 3,650 total. I like the lightweight and powerful enough for me. Wondering if I can put 16 inch supermoto Wheel set from Milk Racing?
Oh nice congrats on the pickup and welcome to the team! Not sure on 16s but I’ll be throwing some 17s on soon(ish) I just need to build them. Please report back when you get your bike🙏🏽
So if you sit the Eride Pro SS next to to rerode 1 would they be the exact same size? I want a smaller bike like the light bee X or Eride Pro S but the S comes with 17inch wheels I have to have 19in wheels. But if the rerode 1 & Eride pro SS are identical I may consider this bike. Please lmk asap..thanks.
If you’re willing to wait the 30-35 days for shipping I’d go this route on the rerode. Don’t get me wrong the xxx is a great option so there’s no wrong choice. This is just a step up from that in every way - better suspension, more power, more range than a xxx. It’s just not popular like talaria
Yes dude you were one of the first people if not the first to guess it right. I haven’t done a range test yet on it but will soon. All I said about range in the video is that it lasted longer than my buddies light bee with a 40ah battery but less than another buddy running a talaria mx4
@@momentswithreese Awesome Reese. The bike looks sick. So glad you were able to grab one and do a review on it. The price range is legit and makes it a top contender for sure and makes it tempting as heck to grab one. Thanks for providing your source and keep up the great videos!
It’s such a good value for what you’re getting out of the box. I’m sure it wouldn’t be hard to throw on after market stuff too. Price point is ridiculous I don’t know how they are making any money and it makes you wonder how much bikes in general actually cost to make😅
Another great bike! I thought about it with the sotion motor and what not. I thought it was interesting how the frame was almost photo copy of the Ron. I went this route to try something new.
Eride is more powerful for sure but I like the turn of the rerode slightly more just a little smoother however I know some people like the torquey feel so it’s all personal preference. You have the best bike in this space so great choice!
So ive been hearing mixed things between this and the 79ebike. Some say the R1 has less torque others say its just the gearing. Anyone have a legitimate answer? 😂
Haha I understand that. I put like 8k into my light bee to get her all dialed in. This one isn't as powerful as my modded light bee but for a stock bike, it's off to a great start
A better comparison would've been the Eride Pro S, the Pro SS is more of an Ultra Bee competitor, if i remember correctly the Pro S & R1 numbers are similar across the board, the ProSS is a different monster on the street
Oh no the pro ss not close to an ultra. The ultra has much better suspension, moto brakes and is basically the size of a 250. The pro ss is simply a 72v swapped light bee pushing lots of power. The only comparable thing of a pro ss and the ultra maybe top speed but at that point it’s apples to oranges.
@momentswithreese brother, £2,647.42 GBP, taxes and shipping included!! That's a bloody steal! I was gonna go for the xxx, that's 3330! How is this bike not out there more? Awesome!
Yes , it’s good on power. Tune is decent. I will try and make a video on it soon if I can. The pro ss is great stock bike and that’s why it’s popular. But let’s say you want to go even faster, or get more range. Now you need to invest in a controller, battery and some people even buy new motors. If high power is the goal( to push 20kw+), it doesn’t make sense to get an eride when you can start with a light bee and build up for cheaper. It really depends on the person imo. I’m not a speed guy, I’m more of a how smooth does the tune feel. How does the suspension feel. How does it ride, you know.
@@momentswithreese great points made here, I will say 60 mph is well fast enough for me lol, im doing a lot of trail riding and some street wheelies lol so 60mph is perfect, i will say it does have a decent power cut at about 40% battery life
Just the 2nd best just buy the eride pro ss and get the top… with a 1 year warranty. Not waiting 6-10 weeks from China is just not it sure you can save $ just not worth the risk and time. When it hits stores maybe it will be something. $3500 plus $500 shipping or more so it’s not as big of a savings
I’ve rode the eride and wouldn’t make the switch and glad I bought this rather than that. It’s a great platform though for those that want to go that route. Eride after shipping is nearly 6k for not that much of a difference in performance. This with shipping is 3500 and delivers in 4-5 weeks. I understand the perspective though.
The website says 3/7 days to deliver with free shipping so you're saving about a grand by getting this instead of a surron or eride pro and get the same specs cuz it runs on a 72v 35a which is like a 60v 45a
@@FlyingKechup72v 35ah you maybe will get 35 miles light riding… battery is the most expensive part. Just so many things currently that make this a no as of right now. It’s not a bad bike. It’s just not supported in the USA yet. A battery is $1600-2200
@@momentswithreeseif your happy that’s all that matters but not getting USA support and the months of waiting for it on a cargo ship to save $800? What was it shipped to your door?
Understandable. I think range varies based on the style of riding you do and weight and such. I’m about to do a range test in my style of riding and I’d guess 40 miles+ which is normally more than enough. Normally about an hour and a half on the bike and I’m freaking tired 😅
@@Rogue_1987 I haven’t seen any of those in the wild yet. I know surronster just got his with the Ventus bike parts on it so once he posts about it it’ll be super popular.
