This is awesome. I’m preparing to build something similar and I’ve been debating on of I should build a small shed or something big enough to be a workshop (like 12’x24’). This video makes me want to go for the big one. Well done!
This is really amazing I'm loving this your making the best one I've seen so far that I can actually understand and it actually looks doable for us ones who can't build very well. You should see my pallet fence it's rough as lol. Nails and wire made a little makeshift kitchen for summer. Les go onwards to part 3. I actually think your way of securing the pallets to each other was brilliant and so much easier than 4×2s.
I put a 2'' x 4 '' x 18'' block on the floor inside the pallet opening and secured it to the outer wall and the floor all around the base of the structure.
Awesome build log.. working with pallets.. I watched to get idea's for a project of my own.. Thanks so much for sharing what you built and your thinkin along the way..
Love it! Great ideas! Love how you cleted the pallets together with the plywood square and a lot of wood screws. Wish you had shown more of your floor build. I've been wanting to do the same thing just haven't gotten enough pallets together. Thanks for sharing. 👍
thank you for the view and the comments but I don't know if you saw the first video but I show the entire process from the prep to the painting the trim there are six and maybe even a seventh video soon on this build
I really like what you have going on. I wish I would have seen your video from the get go. Why? Because I have the same exact pallets that your working with. The other video's I saw had alright plans but not as good as yours and I'm glad I found your video because I got stuck and didn't finish my storage ahead. Watching your video has made this project more simple for me and has giving me greater hope. Thank you for sharing. Sorry if this is a daft Q but am I actually safe to use blue pallets? Different forums say they contain chemicals that might be dangerous. Whats the truth?
offically I don't know I used them because they are very sturdy and are coated to resist bug infestation. What I used them for was a storage shed that is not going to be lived in so they work well for me.
Like I see at 9:24 how you put blocks in, but those blocks are just sitting on top of the floor correct? and you said you just used screws/nails to secure the pallet to those blocks?
Hey john there are 2" X 3 3/4" blocks that are secured to the floor and secured to the bottom of each opening inside of each pallet .....and I toenail the pallets together with 3" wood screws as well
Did you really say you didn't want an I sore because of your wife???? Lol .... I dought she will say anything....considering all the junk, debris, overgrown weeds trash and junk cars on the property. The tourism view is stunning though : )
well you have to start somewhere and you don't want to make it look worst then it was and this was the first steps now I have someplace to store my stuff next comes a place to park the cars....
I can't understand why any woman would want to live like that. At least 70% if what I saw is junk that you will never use. Maybe find a therapist to sort out your underlined issues. That view is WAY to stunning to have all that junk on the property
@@xtraxtra2359 I can appreciate your opinion but I live on 3/4 acre property in the country and only the rear of the property looks like this yes I am a tinkerer or if you prefer a hoarder but I limit my issues to a small area that can be managed and my wife understands my struggles and is ok with that.....

Good job on the shed and looks like your veteran as I am just subscribed. Thanks
Cool
hey great video, can you update us on how the shed is doing? any improvements? or things you would do different in hindsight?

Hi from Switzerland very nice 😊😊😊
hello back thank you....
How do you have the pallets held to the floor? and is the only way the walls are connected to each other is by those square strapping pieces?
Like I see at 9:24 how you put blocks in, but those blocks are just sitting on top of the floor correct?
and you said you just used screws/nails to secure the pallet to those blocks?
