Yea, same here. All of my leagues have dropped out and postponed because of the broken update. It is completely unplayable and now I have to go play GT7 until it gets fixed. 😭

@@neilwright6351 Not really because my FFB doesn't work, I am having framerate issues, and random crashes to name a few. I can't even get 2 corners down the road before my game breaks. So at this point, yes, GT7 is better than ACC.
1.9 needs a patch ASAP it's pretty much unplayable at the moment. I know they were probably under pressure to deliver this update as soon as possible, but surely this happened during their testing of the update

The force feedback has been improved massively in this patch but i had exactly the same glitch of going straight on today ( in the same server) and also in a race at spa in the BMW m4 gt3 and yesterday just after the patch my game also crashed almost every time if i wanted to change the ffb settings, nice video!!❤❤💪👍
What you experienced with the Porsche happens also in SP, mostly it starts with Cars standing around, Then no breaks anymore and as you found out the Car ist way too fast. Only restart helps.
It's coming along as of the last two updates but there's a new glitch that will crash your game if you try to change your key bindings during a practice session
Patch came midway through career stage at Brands Hatch. Race 1 the car felt great - aggressive present with bumped up tyre pressures. Race 2 with the exact same setup was undriveable with no grip at all. Shut down and reset, Race 2 setup working fine again and felt great. Thrustmaster T-Gt 2
All three bugs you had: grip going "green" suddenly, tire crash and no aero/friction bug are frequently comming since the 1.9 update. Hope 505 will bring a bug fix asap.
I just built my first sim racing setup and started playing 2 days ago. I noticed the fast accelerating happen frequently after putting for damage the first time in a race thought I was losing my mind. But hasn’t happened every race and have been enjoying it so far. Very much a gut check coming from games like for a but the challenge has me coming back for more
I have had similar glitches since the update which has killed my safety rating. I have had the mad tyre explosions with the stuck acceleration. I have also had when spending too long in someone’s slipstream it seems to bug the car’s acceleration for the rest of the race where I can for example come off parabolica and be red lining in 6th gear before I cross the start finish line and then the brakes barely work. When it is not glitching the model feels much better but I now race in fear
I had literally the same issues. I didn't really notice them offline until I got comfortable enough to start multiplayer races. But within my first couple days, I experienced everything you just showed in this video. Mind you I only started the game around the same time as you released this video
Did 6 different off line races yesterday 3 of them tire blew out barely touching rumble strips, and car accelerated at light speed with brakes full on. 2 races handling and grip just went out in places I’ve never had problems with before and 1 race where everything was decent except in final gear car was revving so high sounded like 1st gear
Thanks for doing this on PS5. That was confusing, but it is part of the process. It is a good game, but some real clunky bits make the game a lot harder than it should be.
So I’ve noticed that the aggressive setups are extremely loose on the rear & need quite a bit of tuning, but still couldn’t get a hold of all the unpredictability. Safe tunes being quite a bit more stable with tons of understeer, but lightly tuned to correct & can put up much faster times. TLD;DR Felt like aggressive is bugged compared to prior patches. Note: PS5 player
I gave up on this game and got the PSVR2 and GT7. It just works so much better . New online races every week with full lobbies. Much more car variety. I know it’s a bit more simcade but that’s fine as don’t have the time to practice for a real simulation like ACC .
Thx this was helpful. I was hoping they had highway racing like the vids I saw that brought me here. But those are mods. That's what I'm looking for in ACC. Hopefully it will be that way on ACC 2 fingers crossed.
The game was unplayable for me on series X yesterday, I assumed that frequency now being on FFB settings had something to do with it as my wheel felt so different to how it usually does,and id have to completely rework my ffb settings, but now im not even sure its that
I had my first ever experience on xbox and tbh i had no issue. Did a sprint race at Monza and that was super fun and surprisingly clean. Then a 45 min race at Spa which was awesome but i made a lot of errors! Overall a good experience for me and I definitely want to do more
So to me, the driving feels completely different than the previous update. I was able to drive hard and still stay on the track. Where is now I feel like unless I’m driving as smooth as humanly possible I’ll slide immediately, so I have a little room to really push it…..doesn’t feel right that’s for sure.
I've had the same thing with the no entry sign and car having a mind of its own a few time now since the update, never happened before that even though I'm relatively new to the game, strange glitch alright 🤔

I am not the greatest driver in the world but I damn sure was able to get around the track without spinning out before this recent update. Now it’s the first corner. I feel like I’m taking it how I normally do and boom I just slide right off, back tires zero grip.
The Feedback detail is better - but - FFB Strength has dropped massively the wheel feeling unusually "light" which is not to my liking! (Fanatec DD PRO) Tyre blowouts seem to happen often your car firing off like a rocker! Hope a patch arrives soon as I'm a little gutted as I was so excited for it to arrive!
I'm on PC but wheel feeling light was a thing at least initially there too. The fix was to add a bit (1-2) of caster in car setup. I don't know if that would work here but might be worth a try.
I realized the same issues. I watched some YT Videos and many have the same issues. I tried to uninstall it completely and reinstalled it. It does not help. So, we have to wait… it’s sad because I really like how it feels now when driving 😅
Did the update when it came out last week, all good first few days. I watched this video yesterday and turned on the ps5 tonight for a couple of races and low and behold, I was a victim of both glitches. Tyre blew out during quali for an online race and throttle stuck at 100%. Then did an offline race and the car had accelerated to 321 kms 3/4 way down conrod straight at bathurst.
While there are bugs and glitches with the 1.9 release. At least it is not as broken as the next gen update or the 1.8 update, the core of the game is functional. There aren’t major disconnects / crashes or what we nicknamed “ghost cars”. So it’s a small step in the right direction.
Thanks for the video. I will have to fire it back up on the consoles and give it another go. I absolutely love this game but have gotten away from it for the past 6 months or so I have been mainly playing bike games.
Seems like my exact p s five experiences😂😂... The thrustmaster will not work at all anymore. It does not work with the tilt steering on the PS5 remote. So horrible time driving this last couple weeks with trying to use ACC versus GT 7. Still had been wondering when that update was coming out. Because I watched them live. Talk about it and stream on Pc At least a month ago
The 1.9 has glitched Xbox some. But haven’t seen what you experienced at PR. I mostly get the random setup - I’ll spin at some place that had zero issues previously. Problem persists until I leave and rejoin.

Think the presets havnt changed with the update. Camber has to be reduced or OMI range is too much. Also they mention that toe angles aren’t as important and I don’t know hear as much scrubbing when setting toe near zero range but still feels a lil like driving on ice. My only bug on Xbox is trying to exit control setting in game crashes me back to home
I stopped playing ACC on PS5 for having issue mapping buttons for my fanatec podium wheel set. It seem certain action are locked to a specfic button. If this is the state of the game after a patch, guess ill be putting more miles in GT7.
The acceleration glitch also happens in singleplayer . I noticed every time a ai driver goes back in pitstop after a crash or something this glitch happens . And what happend with your Ferrari where youre tire blows up randomly on the curb is also a bug . Hope hotfix comes soon cuz its unplayable right now what a shame .
That’s interesting, wasn’t sure what it was like in Single Player but I know when it first launched it was buggy. I’m sure they are working flat out on some fixes 🙏🏼
So glad I saw this video. I'm sick and tired of GT7 on console. Which is as far as I'm concerned an arcade platform with terrible driving mechanics. I want something way more serious where I can really test my skill with good driving dynamics and a sensible driver rating and improvement curve for good splits. After seeing this video. Think I'm just gonna have to take the dive and get on PC for Iracing and ACC. It's a shame they don't have Iracing on console. That would of been the perfect solution.
Apart from the absolutely bizarre downforce magically dissapearing glitch I have no complaints towards the update, all the new cars are currently my favourites to drive, but my new favourite one is the Porsche no doubt. So happy I can finally main my favourite car brand, bear in mind previously I was a main bimmer guy, so you can see how good(apart from the bugs as I mentioned) this update is, that a controller player can now confortably drive a Porsche and be relatively decent with it
V1.9 should, in theory, mean that optimal range is now between 26 and 27. Although it’s not as simple as just being in the window anymore, there can be benefits and drawbacks to running at 26.2 or 26.8 depending on what you are looking for.
So many glitches to even make a list this is criminal my biggest gripe is tire pressures won’t same it some how changes my set ups. Ride height 50-50 what the hell is that it was in tje Ferrari I’m thinking class action law suit

LOL @16:56 seeing everyone go through there caught me off guard. There's sure is something wrong with this update if everyone going through the same problems.
Appeared to be some sort of issue with the air, no drag and no downforce or something so everyone had much less grip than normal. Seems to be fixed now though with the recent patch!
Great video it must be difficult for kunos I appreciate this but it has ruined the game for me on ps5 way too many glitches especially when I don't have lot of time to sim race
I started 18 months ago, and spent months driving solo championship races to gain the confidence for multiplayer races. Then I discovered no one else does this 😂 Private lobbies are so much better than public ones, so that’s where I spend my racing hours now
I love this game a lot, i am going to be getting rid of my pc for personal reasons and I was thinking of replacing it with an Xbox series S. Is the experience going to be the same? I played it in my pc with an Xbox controller.
I have both Series X and PS5 and use ACC on both. Series X looks to have a slightly clearer view distance with better anti aliasing but I have frequent crashes to dashboard. PS5 doesn't look as good but I have never had a crash while racing like on the Series X. Wish they'd fix the Series X version!
Same here guys. Ps5 dd fanatec pro Blown tires.. no brakes… p1 taking off at light speed and other cars going slower pace. Just terrible. Always so close but so so far
Can you please do a follow up video, as just over a week after this update, they patched it and now everything is working properly. It needs a proper review
I for one have left console many moons ago and will never look back. Its one of those modern science of doing things; there is a new and better way of doing it so we say good bye to the past - funny enough the PC game first, LOL.
Launching to game as anew player is a huge let down. First off, I can’t have both my wheel and controller on? The button mapping is nonexistent and even when done manually it doubles elsewhere unexpectedly. Lousy first experience from a seasoned sim racer.
I wont be loading up acc on ps5 again until theyve patched it and fixed everything. I've never known a game to be so glitch-filled with EVERY patch. Even their patches that are meant to fix bugs create more bugs.
Can confirm.i tried my assetto corsa settings and my car control blew up from 55 to 85 just in a 20m practice session in spa and there is room for improvement in almost everything. The game is fun for a sim with a roller.
We run a pretty successful Aus/NZ PS5 endurance series, have done 2 rounds so far with over 20 teams and 60 drivers. All drivers were excited for this update and with only 3 weeks till the next race (Watkins glen 4 hour) we hope these issues are fixed!

Same problem with me on my 2nd race, in the lead and tyre blow out. Won a trophy for it though. Collateral damage, so seems like it’s meant to happen but now I just have the fear. I’m sure a patch will come out soon
Every time I go to adjust my wheel settings since last update the game crashes for me on ps5. Happened 4 times then just went back to GT7. Gt7 just works. No need to mess around for hours to get the wheel ffb and steering lock. It's a shame because I was really gonna go for it with ACC but gt7 is just king right now.
Anyone can jump on :) And totally slide off the road at the first corner... Also, my first race in 1.9.0 4 XBox X totally glitched out in single player. At least it didn't crash to the home screen. Got the quick acceleration bug though.
505 games is just the publisher, it's a company called Untold Games doing the console port. Your point still stands though, Kunos should replace Untold Games.
Guess who is the owner of ACC? Well, the exact same company that owns 505 games. And like someone else said, 505 farms the port to a different 3rd party studio. But 505 is definitely responsible for releasing something in this state. Kunos is not big enough to do the console versions themselves.

Whoever is ultimately responsible though, it's been the same thing with every major update.......massive bugs that only half get fixed in future updates.

Its unplayable atm, its like suddenly everything freeze to ice and track is soap slippery. Or you freeze mid corner and cant get out.

Update needs lots of work that speed glitch is unplayable and it makes for no downforce and loses the wheels on a car is just ridiculous
I’ve had it a few times on XBox where the tyre temps sky rocket and then it’s like driving on ice and the tyres never recover.

Just bought it. I had fun right out of the box offline but there were concerning frame rate drops.
My T300 wheel suddenly stops working during race. Before update never had problems😢

I think it might be your tire pressure they seem low and with the new update the tires seem really grippy around 27.5 psi
V1.9 should, in theory, mean that optimal range is now between 26 and 27. Although it’s not as simple as just being in the window anymore, there can be benefits and drawbacks to running at 26.2 or 26.8 depending on what you are looking for.

LOL @16:56 seeing everyone go through there caught me off guard. There's sure is something wrong with this update if everyone going through the same problems.
Appeared to be some sort of issue with the air, no drag and no downforce or something so everyone had much less grip than normal. Seems to be fixed now though with the recent patch!

Great video it must be difficult for kunos I appreciate this but it has ruined the game for me on ps5 way too many glitches especially when I don't have lot of time to sim race

I started 18 months ago, and spent months driving solo championship races to gain the confidence for multiplayer races. Then I discovered no one else does this 😂
Private lobbies are so much better than public ones, so that’s where I spend my racing hours now
So I can't finish a race. Every time there's any yellow flag anywhere on the track, I lose all the brakes 😤
I have 0 issues on series X everything runs perfect. FFB is great. Cars are awesome and no glitches
I love this game a lot, i am going to be getting rid of my pc for personal reasons and I was thinking of replacing it with an Xbox series S. Is the experience going to be the same? I played it in my pc with an Xbox controller.
I have both Series X and PS5 and use ACC on both. Series X looks to have a slightly clearer view distance with better anti aliasing but I have frequent crashes to dashboard. PS5 doesn't look as good but I have never had a crash while racing like on the Series X. Wish they'd fix the Series X version!

I for one have left console many moons ago and will never look back. Its one of those modern science of doing things; there is a new and better way of doing it so we say good bye to the past - funny enough the PC game first, LOL.

Launching to game as anew player is a huge let down. First off, I can’t have both my wheel and controller on? The button mapping is nonexistent and even when done manually it doubles elsewhere unexpectedly. Lousy first experience from a seasoned sim racer.

I wont be loading up acc on ps5 again until theyve patched it and fixed everything. I've never known a game to be so glitch-filled with EVERY patch. Even their patches that are meant to fix bugs create more bugs.
On console it's actually quite good on controller
Can confirm.i tried my assetto corsa settings and my car control blew up from 55 to 85 just in a 20m practice session in spa and there is room for improvement in almost everything.
The game is fun for a sim with a roller.
We run a pretty successful Aus/NZ PS5 endurance series, have done 2 rounds so far with over 20 teams and 60 drivers. All drivers were excited for this update and with only 3 weeks till the next race (Watkins glen 4 hour) we hope these issues are fixed!

Within the first 2 laps I had this game breaking bug. Surely they playtest this before they slap it on to the consoles....

Same problem with me on my 2nd race, in the lead and tyre blow out. Won a trophy for it though. Collateral damage, so seems like it’s meant to happen but now I just have the fear. I’m sure a patch will come out soon
I find it strange that people are so invested in racing Sims that it's treated like they're actually driving the real cars.
Every time I go to adjust my wheel settings since last update the game crashes for me on ps5. Happened 4 times then just went back to GT7. Gt7 just works. No need to mess around for hours to get the wheel ffb and steering lock. It's a shame because I was really gonna go for it with ACC but gt7 is just king right now.

Anyone can jump on :) And totally slide off the road at the first corner... Also, my first race in 1.9.0 4 XBox X totally glitched out in single player. At least it didn't crash to the home screen. Got the quick acceleration bug though.

If I was the ACC game owner/creator, I think I would be looking to replace 505 games and find someone else to do the console work by now...
505 games is just the publisher, it's a company called Untold Games doing the console port. Your point still stands though, Kunos should replace Untold Games.
Guess who is the owner of ACC? Well, the exact same company that owns 505 games. And like someone else said, 505 farms the port to a different 3rd party studio. But 505 is definitely responsible for releasing something in this state. Kunos is not big enough to do the console versions themselves.
@@namesii1880 I had no idea that Kunos was owned by 505's parent company, I missed that one. Just checked though and you are right. It's definitely more on 505 then like you said. Whoever is ultimately responsible though, it's been the same thing with every major update.......massive bugs that only half get fixed in future updates.
