On top of that the media loves a comeback story. If the awards were actually based on real vocals, BILLS BILLS BILLS CLEARLY was the winner. In fact every other song nominated against No Scrubs was clearly better vocally. Politics people. At the end of the day, The Writing's On The Wall sold more than Fanmail so.

TLC and Destiny's Child were both good groups. T Boz and especially Chilli had good voices, maybe not Beyonce standard but still good. Fanmail was a great album, as was TWOTW. I'll have to give it to TLC for originality with No Scrubs though, which was an overall better song than Bills also.
