Cretin-Derham hall high school in St. Paul is where Mauer and Cale played high school baseball. Cale batted 2nd and Joe batted 3rd.... nice mention boys!!
I like the idea of homing pigeon disc finder. I went to the website (sold out) and even on youtube, but there is no video on how it works. I was looking into and working out a tracking device for discs last year. But unfortunately I don't think any of them are PDGA legal. I am going to he keep checking in on Homing Pigeon because it basically looks like a sticker not some bulkier poker sized chip on the bottom of your disc. Im sure the range on finding the disc is only 20ish ft though. Great innovation, products will only get better from here on out! May your putts sink, and you never shank. Have an ace of a day my friends!
Did I just catch a mini-narrative the producer was trying to create by pairing two clips next to each other? The first one: closeup shot of those nice shoes moving through the X-step then the second one of the top player on tour tying his grungy Vans? It’s the artistic details like this that keep me coming back to Jomez. 0:18
I think this one those holes after watching both fpo/mpo that ladies should throw from where the drop zone is to give them a better chance at getting the birdie
I think Paul is mixing up Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau. Mauer was a great hitter but not a big power guy _(his career high in homers was 28 the year he won MVP; his second highest HR total was 13)._ He also "only" has 1 MVP, though he received votes several times. He was an excellent all-around player with great defense at catcher _(5 Gold Gloves),_ and great discipline at the plate _(124 career OPS+)._ Cale and Joe were indeed on the same baseball team, and apparently Cale was very good, too. Cale played shortstop; I'm not sure what position Mauer played in HS, but he was a catcher in MLB for 10 years before transitioning to 1st base _(a lot of catchers don't play catcher their whole career, especially the ones who can hit; all that squatting is rough on the knees)._ Cale was the leadoff hitter and Mauer batted 3rd in the order, at least according to Cale's quote in an article from 2013.
Did anyone else realize that if this was a skins match, Calvin would have won $1700 (he had the only single birdies on 13 and 17) and pushed with Gannon on 18 with an eagle… give that kid some money 😂💰
17:29 "The Operator" like in "the CNC operator". He is programming the machine center, aka himself, then just running the executable and automatically plays like a terminator. Or should i say Birdienator... I'll see myself out... "CNC stands for computer numerical control and is a term referring to automated specialised machinery that is sometimes called machining centres. It's a process for automating the control of machine tools via software installed in a microcomputer linked to a tool."
The Computer doesn't resonate with the casual spectator, because all we see is smooth form. We don't know his thought process. Maybe a play on some AI name could work. Brad GPT?
Lol at the pigeon sticker disc gadget. It immediately makes your disc illegal for pdga play, and the type of player that would pay hundreds of dollars (literally, go look) for stickers that MIGHT help you find a lost disc are the type of players who need their favorite disc to be pdga legal.
I've been watching this coverage for years and the commentators have not adjusted from their past mistakes and are taking away from the viewing experience. The on coarse camera people could also use a lesson in showing a more accurate depiction of where the disk lands in relation to the basket.
“Ooo I wanna pet it, dead”
Go Cal!!! Love seeing the Minnesota kid out there!!!
12:33 DEAD! 🤣🤣🤣
Joe Mauer did in fact hit a lot of dingers! My favorite baseball memories surround Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau opening up Target Field!
Me too!!! Those were the days
Dingers? The guy never even hit 30 in a season. Phenomenal player but did not hit a lot of dingers.
@@nicholasflynn7121 True. I remember him more as being a high on base percentage guy.
@@winstonsmith11 I think he won back to back batting titles as a catcher. Absolutley absurd.
I think Bradley should be called the professor 🎉
I wish you guys did a mini map showing each shot, top down flight path would be dope
Sounds like a good project for you to tackle. Keep us in the loop
Yeah I been thinking that too
@@mattp4007 seemed like more of a suggestion to me rather than antagonism
Only Jomez has the stones for Great Snake Debate of 2024

Gannon’s putt on 13 is shocking
No spoilers 😂🤣
Ricky and Bradley's putts on 17 were the super shockers.
That thing was really going places if there hadn't been anything behind the basket
He shouldn't have started the tournament by saying he's the best in the world....
Appreciate the baseball shoutouts 🤟
When you gotta get to 16th to see somebody outside the double digits under, you know there are going to be some wild scores this weekend.
A tale as old as time between Gannon and the Prodigy baskets.
Was it last year, hole 13 when rick hit the rock wall and drained the putt from thr corner?
I think this one those holes after watching both fpo/mpo that ladies should throw from where the drop zone is to give them a better chance at getting the birdie
Jerm, you made my girlfriends day with your amazing wordplay describing things like “zippy zappy” and “rooty tooty” had her dying 😂

18:53 You mean you wanna see...how it plays out?
Dang what’s up with these unstoppable long ass ads. Running the flow of the video lol
felt like an eternity
Where is Calvin Heimburg?
I was wondering the same thing!
he's taking a break, but just this event as far as i know.
Looks like he’s playing a tournament in Sweden next weekend, so likely over seas already (or heading there soon)
15:10 i’m not sure thats PDGA approved
Where is round 2 and 3 for this card?
Let’s go!!! Love from aus
Nick name Bradley Williams, Data

That little pop Gannon did on 17 was a last second correction cause he kind of baby-armed it.
I wish they would show what disc the players are using on every shot, not just when they tee off
Paul, it's not a fuckin GARDENER lmao it's GARTER lol
Paul misnaming and mispronouncing things is just part of the package.
Makes for some good moments.
Jerm do it too
This course definitely needs more OB
Anyone know what shoes Ricky is wearing?
Yes, it's a shoe from the brand vivobarefoot :) Eagle Mcmahon's sponsor.
the Rickychet ☠☠☠☠

Bradley should be nicknamed "The Scientist"
This course is too easy for these guys
Is that a fart I hear at 9:02 ??
Who farted?
Brad kinda looks like he’s got some knee or hip sensitivity. His walks to the basket seem a little tight. Hope he’s ok.
I think he just walks like that
I noticed this on some of his drives. Hope he's ok.
Why is it so common to have inaccurate distances on the tour? I can give you a nearly perfect distance with my range finder and Im just a guy 😂
One question whole this season... Why the hell does Jomez Pro keep writing "Richard" Wysocki on the scoreboard???
Well because that's his name, is it not?
Yuh
What does Gannon throw as approach on hole 10? Is that a driver? If so, is it normal? Why not a pig/berg for that short distance?
He can't throw pig or berg cause he's sponsored by discmania, he's throwing a p3x, it's a putter
I was not expecting that skip from a putter.
How is it possible that hole 18 is a par 5 instead of par 4!?
It's 940ft. Course has to be generous to all other mere mortals
@@GoldenDonut984 Yes i know everone is not Gannon Buhr or Calvin Hamburger. But when PROS play this hole its to easy.
