Wait, what? Then why doesn't HIS denial of the clear direct statements of Jesus make HIM a reprobate then? using this guys logic (guy in video not you pastor mcmurtry!) , wouldn’t that mean that if you sin you would automatically lose your salvation? because all sin is sin in the eyes of Christ?

Logic proves eternal security. As a matter of fact, losing a salvation position is logically self-defeating, so it must be wrong a priori, and it needs to be thrown away. Here is example....
If someone says to you that you have(right now you are in possession) eternal health for example, there is no scenario in which you can get sick anymore.
If you get sick, it wasn’t eternal in the first place!!!
We have two potential positions: 1. if you have got eternal health, you cannot lose it.
2. Or you never had it.
The position of losing salvation(or health in this case) it is logically impossible and self-contradictory.
if you get unsaved once, you cannot be saved ever again, right? There is no more sacrifice that can save you ever again? So if people who believe they can lose their salvation accidentally, or willingly, they can not get it back ever again, cannot be forgiven, or restored again right? It is impossible for them to renew them again to repentance? So they're lost forever? If they sin, they lose their salvation, they cannot be renewed back, their repentance will not be accepted. You cannot sin, repent, renewed, sin again, repent, and be renewed over and over again. If once saved always saved, once you lost it its impossible to renew you again to repentance.
How come this people deceive themselves that they dont sin and they have no sin and they can lose their salvation and then they can be saved again. Theyre life is about defending losing their salvation and getting it back again. The Bible said it is impossible for them to be renewed, no second chance. Once you lost it, its gone forever. No amount of repentance can renew them again😂😂.
He might as well have said if you don't do the ten commandments you will go to hell.

This guy's channel used to be called "epousion apologetics" and he has been on a rapid anti OSAS attack for years. He believes a lot of other heresy like annihilationism as well.
After seeing how interpreted the Bible in this video that doesn't surprise me that he believe that too.
He doesn't promote annihilationism but most of what else he says is false.
Why leave out John 10:27
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. Hebrews 10:26-27.
Receiving knowledge of the truth does not equal being a member of the elect. To be saved, one must believe from the heart in Jesus for salavtion, not merely receive knowledge.
Would it fair to say that people who are righteousness in the sight of God are those who have been saved and those practice unrighteousness are unsaved?
@@plantedbythewaters2813 I'm planning to do a podcast episode on these Hebrews passages in the future, because I don't think many people have done a very good job of understanding them. I believe the people the author of Hebrews is talking about are those who hear and finally reject the Gospel because they are goats, not the sheep of Jesus. Salvation is by faith alone, not by works.
This is talking about God judging his elect, the saved. A good example of this is King Solomon who having been in God's good grace, fell away and God was angry with him at the end because Solomon turned away from God and went a whoring after other Gods for the sake of all his unsaved wives worshipping false gods.
verse 29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
"wherewith he was sanctified" is talking about a saved person!
@@dane2030 I agree that this is talking about a saved person. A saved person who deliberately goes back to willfully sinning no longer has any more sacrifice for his sins but has a fearful judgment awaiting.
Thank you for the video, Pastor. I love your work, but I have to be honest, I really struggle with once saved always saved. I don’t see how you can believe in it, and not be pretty hard line Calvinist, what am I missing?

When someone says that they are fighting against OSAS, it literally means they are fighting against the gospel. So, are they saved or unsaved🙈😫
Cannot be saved without the doctrine of eternal security, else you are believing in works and the ability to "keep" or "maintain" salvation.

If OSAS is true, tell me how Romans 8:12/13 is in the Bible. The OSAS position cannot be true in light of that scripture alone (yet it is not only that scripture). It very clearly sets a condition upon salvation.
If I am to believe this false teacher in this video, then I not ought to worry or strive to live anything like Christ. I commit whatever sin I want - lie, adultery, murder? - but I'm still saved because Jesus will defend me??? What nonsense. What kind of hellbound lie is this?

Compare Mt 6:14-15 with Mark 11:22-26, and you will see that Jesus is talking about relationship forgivness, not positional forgivness for entrance in heaven, rather so our praying will be answeered. Read this….

This was easy. Guys who are saying that someone can lose their salvation, are unsaved. They cannot teach you anything!!!

You don’t really have to listen and obey Jesus’ words because Jesus supposedly died so these words can be null and void for believers and they can ignore this warning.

People thought Jesus was throwing out the Law too, but the truth is He wasn't. He was here to fulfill it. All glory goes to Him for our salvation. He finished the work. He didn't start it so we could help Him finish it. It is finished.

Actually, if you Truly want to follow Jesus Christ, Jesus says to repent and turn from your worldly wicked ways, and be baptized by the Holy Spirit then the truth will be made to you. How are we able to know that we have come to KNOW the Father and Jesus?

So, assurance of eternal life in Christ is to keep the commandments(plural) of Christ and by this we can KNOW that we KNOW Him and have eternal life. The Bible clearly says that whoever says they KNOW Him but does not keep His commandments(plural) is a LIAR!! Plain and simple.
The gospel that is taught to many people today has been reduced down to just "faith alone". This false gospel of "faith alone" has made following the commandments of Christ null and void. Obeying His commandments have been eliminated from the gospel and have been made subsequent and optional to salvation. Walking in the Spirit has been made optional as well. This false gospel of "faith alone" changes what Jesus said in Matthew 7:14 - For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Instead of following the biblical teaching on salvation in Christ, they follow this false gospel which tells them that they can be saved by "faith alone", apart from having to keep the commandments of Christ.
By teaching that we do NOT need to keep the commandments(plural) of Christ as the gospel, the saving power of the gospel has been neutralized. The end result is that millions of people have been deceived by the devil's masterpiece into thinking they have eternal life in Christ when they actually do not.
I just watch this, why don't they see this was before Jesus died on the cross, I know why they don't believe Jesus die for all our sins. This man is deceived and deceiving others. He doesn't know Jesus.
