When I was in hospital six years ago there was a Italian nurse who's mum was Welsh
She was beautiful, kind and could have been a model.
When she spoke she said some words with a Welsh accent.
She chose to leave the sun and moved to the UK to help others
I thought she gave up a good life to help us, good for her, the world needs people like her

I wish that those in the comments who call this scaremongering or think that the pandemic is all a big conspiracy had to meet these doctors and nurses who have lived through it on the front lines. They are true heroes, and the fact that they can still have moments of humour during this is a testament to human nature. It’s easier to live in denial or believe that there’s some bigger purpose or conspiracy to Covid-19 but pandemics have happened throughout history.

Quit with the lies. The masks are to erase individuality and support the slave peasant culture that the masses are being tricked into. The numbers from cv had to be cooked. There are so many more dangerous things that kill more people every day . The mask is deleterious to health long term - we weren’t meant to spend our lives masked. The control arm of the world is using the gullible natures of the masses against themselves . And don’t tell me about hospitals being overrun - I work in one and see the lies first hand .

Wonderful care given by Doctors and so many nurses in ICU and the wards.
Later ,I hope to see nurses who have studied for years to care for the very complex cases in ICU ,receive the correct and appropriate salary to match the responsibility.

What about the Doctors and Biomedical scientists and other staff who work in hospital laboratories. They are actually the forefront of care who are constantly in danger of getting infected. They are the the ones who do the work for the clinical staff. This being doctors and nurses on wards and ICU. We don’t get any recognition as with the ancillary staff who work hard and are more exposed to the virus.

There feels like a great deal of honesty in the stuff coming out of Italy that i can't find in most british stuff (there's a huw davies interviews a Royal Gwent hospital doctor video on channel 4 that is good though and i like Dr Hope's sick notes series, watch one with his boss and lego).

Working in diagnostics in pathology and the forefront in catching any diseases nobody mentions us. We strive to help the staff who work on the surgical/clinical side to deliver the care needed. We are all one family in the medical field. What’s the point the government promising that if you fall ill and die there will be a payment of £60k. What’s the point, not many staff in the NHS die of COVID-19 but a lot more do get sick. No compensation given when you become ill or much help from the government.

Just because you are all commenting without knowing the procedure and BBC did not film the entire process, I need to say that on her hair she had to put a hair cap, she has to disinfect her hands before wearing each and every piece of equipment and there were many, thay had to use 2 pair of gloves overlaped, change them in between patients, etc. It was a very long and complex process, BBC didn't show it all. I work in this precise hospital and I know what they had to face there. This pandemic it exploded in cities around large airports, in Italy it was Milan and its area (where Lodi and Codogno are situated), Bergamo, Bologna, Torino, in other countries New York, London, etc. If we were to look every country was hit in the areas where they have large and very busy airports because this virus travels with people. The most affected countries were also the most visited ones therefore lets not point the finger or show ourselves when there are no reasons to do it.

My goodness me. The message at the end is the most important. This is the new normal. I can't even imagine going through this. "I cannot remember what it was like before," says it all. Some of us worry about holidays, eating out or going to the shops. I am not sure this doctor will feel the same way about going back to what was normal before this. To just be able to enjoy another day and to have hope again will become the most important things.

Matthew 6:9 “You must pray, then, this way “‘Our Heavenly Father Jehovah God, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth. Give us today our bread for this day and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors and do not bring us into temptation but deliver us from the wicked one.
In the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
“God is a Spirit”; hence, we cannot see him. (John 4:24) God is a spirit and those worshipping him must worship with spirit and truth. Yet, love for Jehovah is possible, and we are commanded in the Scriptures to express that love. For example, Moses told the Israelites: “You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength.”-Deuteronomy. 6:5.
“You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.”-MATTHEW. 22:37.
Remember to say in the name of your son Jesus Christ, Amen. He will hear your prayer Jesus died for our sins. WE ALL BELONG TO JEHOVAH. WE ARE ALL BROTHERS AND SISTERS and we love one another equally.

For the reason you mentioned, she had to disinfect before tying her hair, she wears a hair cap and will disinfect before applying each and every protective equipment and ofcourse before and in between each patient. I work there, I only wished BBC showed all the process the nurses and doctors had to fulfilling before starting to work with patients, it was very long and very complex. Now that we have fewer cases they seem more relaxed but when it all started it was tremenduous. All the patients aligned in the hallways were there just like you see shown with the smartphobe because there were no more places in the salons.
