I have one of these chairs too. Mine is the Helinox brand ! Took it all over Europe. Super handy

Helinox chairs are great! Most of my backpacking friends use Helinox because the durability and how light they are. Only reason I went with REI was because it was on sale.

Hey, Mark. I bought the regular Flexlite last month and used it on an overnight bikecamping trip, and it worked great. I know that the Flexlite Air is about 11 oz. lighter, but I didn't want to spend the extra cash for the Air, and your experience with the regular being more comfortable only confirms to me that I chose the right chair. ALTHOUGH, right now REI (up till March 26th?) has discounted BOTH of these chairs significantly, so now is the time to nab one (for anyone wanting one). (Maybe I'll buy the Air and give the regular to my wife :-)

Bruin Doc getting a Flexlite Air chair during the sale would be a great idea. If you don’t like it, you can always return it. Not only is it lighter, it also packs smaller in a backpack or cycling bags 😀
