I do remember going to legends of the aud. Was a wrestling event with old timers and current guys at the time. That was in June. Was that the last event? I wish I knew for sure. Either way I’m glad to have been old enough to go to the aud a couple times. My brother got hit in the head with a lacrosse ball at one of the games in the aud. Always thought that was funny.
They closed the Aud in style that night. I belive it was the Goo Goo Dolls the next night, then the Sabres last game there on Sunday. I remember seeing a guy carrying his wooden Blue seat with him down Washington St after the Bandits game. He must have brought a socket wrench with him.
This was the last Championship and second to last sporting event in the old Auditorium.

Attendance for the 1996 MILL Championship Game was a sellout crowd of 16,230 fans.
