I love the fact you caught the Chris Benoit line. Most UA-camrs who react completely miss how dark that bar is.

Took me a while to figure out why they make his hooks like that (because I personally don't really like them) but I get it. He's using the sound of pop music to basically diss pop music in every track. It's actually quite genius that they do that.
Pretty sure "No Response" was Tom taking a victory lap after this.
Tom's first diss was bait, he knew if he came too hard Mac wouldn't respond.

Tom was rapping before he was with Nova. He has just perfected his craft as he's gotten older. He's an amazing writer.

I used to like Mac Lethal but I hate to tell him he's started a battle with someone that he can't beat. I've listened to Mac for years and I've just started listening to Tom McDonald and within 2 weeks I'm blown away with how awesome Tom's songs are. Mac is nothing but a catchy little gimmick rapper when it comes to comparing him to Tom. Tom has so much meaning to his songs and his songs resonate with so many people today bc his songs address real issues.
In my opinion, as much as Tom MacDonald told the truth about himself, I don't know why any rapper, signed or unsigned would want to dis him, he obviously did his homework on mac
Mac never responded to this, and shortly after, he deleted all of his social media for awhile. This basically ended Mac Lethal.
he actually did respond...by doing exactly what Tom claims he would do, release a new track using this as clout.

Can I just say- when Mac Lethal says Tom lies about his height, the photo he shows is bullshit. That is my boyfriend in that photo standing next to Tom, I took the photo and my boyfriend is 6'6".

In what way is the photo “bullshit?” Also, which photo? The one with your boyfriend in it doesn’t show a measurement, it just shows that your boyfriend is significantly taller than Tom. The one before it, with a measurement shown, shows Tom to supposedly be 6’5”, or 6’6”. If that was the case, he would be close to your boyfriend in height, which he clearly isn’t. A website I checked (which I don’t know the reliability of, but gives an almost believable overestimate based on the height difference shown in your photo) lists him as 6’1”. Which would mean that Mac’s claim that Tom lied about his height is true. It’s still not a great diss track, Tom still wins, but your comment makes very little sense, in addition to being “bullshit.”

Tom’s image made the claim that he’s as tall as your boyfriend, and your picture shows he isn’t. When a person is claiming height they don’t have, subtracting inches (and pounds) from what they _do_ have is a good joke, and a great punchline in a battle. Tom still won. Do you get it now, or should I break it down further for you?
