I can't wait to start reading this, I have no clue about the plot! First time I'm going in blind!
Read it, I highly recommend it, but keep in mind that the manga will never have an end because a fire ended up happening in the author's house, so he said it was no longer possible to write the story, unfortunately. But Vagabond turns out to be the best manga I've ever read

I just finished reading Vagabond and I'm totally crushed that it ended but what a truly incredible story. Everything from the artwork, all the characters, MUSASHI AND KOJIRO...this will be getting a re-read very soon.

Inoue drew what would've been the Last Chapter of Vagabond if you haven't read it yet. Let's hope he one day continues this masterpiece altough I highly doubt it.

Just finished Vagabond. Arigato Takehiko Inoue, you taught me many things in form of great characters like Shinmen Takezo, Matahachi Honiden, Otsu, Takuan Soho, Hozoin Inei, Hozoin Inshun, Yagyuu Skishusai, Gion Toji, Yoshioka Seijuro and Denshichiro, Kanemaki Jisai, Itto Ittosai , Kojiro Sasaki. All these characters taught me something. Will surely re read it later.
you should try reading "the book of the five rings" its a book written by the real Miyamoto Musashi. If u liked Vagabond u will love that book

Did you know that the last chapter exist? was published a long time ago, way before the manga starts I think. It is one of the most satisfying endings that I have ever read. Search for Vagabond: The LAST Manga Exhibition

it's an amazing manga. Just keep in mind, it's not a fighting manga but more of a philosophical journey of the main character takezo.

I know musashi, kojiro, otsu, takuan, etc are really good characters, but the side ones like the sword sharpener, the statue carver, shuzaku, jisai and my favorite kami izumi ise no kami are others examples of the quality of the characters in this manga. An authentic 10/10
